FCC-ee: The Lepton Collider: Future Circular Collider Conceptual Design Report Volume 2

A. Abada, +1494 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the second volume of the Future Circular Collider Conceptual Design Report, devoted to the electron-positron collider FCC-ee, and present the accelerator design, performance reach, a staged operation scenario, the underlying technologies, civil engineering, technical infrastructure, and an implementation plan.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hadronic contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment to next-to-next-to-leading order

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compute the next-to-next-to leading order hadronic contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment originating from the photon vacuum polarization and derive the corresponding three-loop kernel functions using asymptotic expansion techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI

Charm and bottom quark masses: An update

TL;DR: In this article, an update on the determination of charm- and bottom-quark masses through sum rules has been performed using new four-loop results for the heavy quark vacuum polarization and new data for bottom quark production in electron-positron annihilation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quark Mass Relations to Four-Loop Order in Perturbative QCD

TL;DR: Results are presented for the relation between a heavy quark mass defined in the on-shell and minimal subtraction (MS[over ¯]) scheme to four-loop order and the new results are used to establish relations between various short-distance masses and the MS[ over ¯] quarks mass to next-to-next- to-next to-leading order accuracy.
Journal ArticleDOI

HE-LHC : The High-Energy Large Hadron Collider Future Circular Collider Conceptual Design Report Volume 4

A. Abada, +1499 more
TL;DR: The third volume of the FCC Conceptual Design Report as discussed by the authors is devoted to the hadron collider FCC-hh, and summarizes the physics discovery opportunities, presents the FCC-HH accelerator design, performance reach, and staged operation plan, discusses the underlying technologies, the civil engineering and technical infrastructure, and also sketches a possible implementation.
