TL;DR: Comparisons between gay and heterosexual men using the Male Eating Behavior and Body Image Evaluation (MEBBIE), an instrument designed to assess attitudes and behaviors related to eating, exercise and body image specifically in men, indicated that gay men diet more, are more fearful of becoming fat, and are more dissatisfied with their bodies in general as well as with their degree of muscularity.

Abstract: This paper describes our work in integrating three different lexical resources: FrameNet, VerbNet, and WordNet, into a unified, richer knowledge-base, to the end of enabling more robust semantic parsing. The construction of each of these lexical resources has required many years of laborious human effort, and they all have their strengths and shortcomings. By linking them together, we build an improved resource in which (1) the coverage of FrameNet is extended, (2) the VerbNet lexicon is augmented with frame semantics, and (3) selectional restrictions are implemented using WordNet semantic classes. The synergistic exploitation of various lexical resources is crucial for many complex language processing applications, and we prove it once again effective in building a robust semantic parser.

Abstract: We report the effects of microwave irradiation on both unpurified and purified iron-catalyzed high-pressure disproportionation (HiPco)-grown single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) in ultrahigh vacuum. Under microwave irradiation, we observe that unpurified HiPco SWNTs quickly reach temperatures of approximately 1850 °C. As a result, H2, H2O, CO, CO2, and CH4 gases are observed, and the Fe catalyst nanoparticles melt and coalesce into larger crystallites approximately four times their original diameter. In contrast, carbon black and purified HiPco SWNTs heat up to temperatures of 500–650 °C. We propose that the significant heating of unpurified HiPco SWNTs is due to the Fe catalysts.
