Journal ArticleDOI

Electrogenerated chemiluminescence of sterically hindered porphyrins in aqueous media

TL;DR: A sterically hindered water-soluble porphyrin, tetrakis(3-sulfonatomesityl)porphyrin (H2TSMP), could form stable radical cation in aqueous media after electrochemical one electron oxidation as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Low potential detection of indole-3-acetic acid based on the peroxidase-like activity of hemin/reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite.

TL;DR: An amperometric sensor was firstly established for the detection of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) at low potential based on the hemin/reduced graphene oxide (hemin/rGO) composite and provided a new method for IAA detection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polystyrene-bound imidazole as a heterogeneous axial ligand for Mn(TPP)Cl and its use as hydrocarbon monooxygenation catalyst in the alkene epoxidation and alkane hydroxylation with sodium periodate under various reaction conditions

TL;DR: Polystyrene-bound imidazole (PSI) is not only a heterogeneous axial base but also a support for immobilization of tetraphenylporphyrinatomanganese (III) chloride as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactivity of the Coordinated Hydroperoxo Ligand.

TL;DR: The reactivity of the hydroperoxo complex [Co(CN)(5)OOH](3)(-) has been studied in aqueous solution and the reaction is acid catalyzed and is proposed to take place via nucleophilic attack of sulfur on the proximal oxygen of thehydrogen peroxide ligand with concerted loss of water.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photochemical oxidation of a manganese(III) complex with oxygen and toluene derivatives to form a manganese(V)-oxo complex.

TL;DR: The data suggest a new catalytic method is accessible for the selective oxidation of C-H bonds with O2 and light, and the first evidence for catalytic oxidation of H2O bonds was obtained with 10-methyl-9,10-dihydroacridine as a substrate.
