Fluorous Biphasic Catalytic Oxidation of Alkenes and Aldehydes with Air and 2‐Methylpropanal in the Presence of (β‐Perfluoroalkylated tetraphenylporphyrin)cobalt Complexes

TL;DR: A simple and facile fluorous biphasic catalytic oxidation of alkenes and aldehydes with 1 atm of air and 2-methylpropanal in the presence of the (beta-perfluoroalkylated tetraphenylporphyrin) cobalt complexes [Co{TPP(C8F17)(4)}] (Co2) has been demonstrated for the first time as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Die CH‐Bindungen der Zuckerbausteine von DNA als Angriffspunkte für chemische Nucleasen und Wirkstoffe

TL;DR: In this paper, a Ubersicht befast sich with den molekularen Aspekten der DNA-Spaltung durch synthetische chemische Nucleasen (Ubergangsmetallkomplexe with Redoxeigenschaften and Affinitat zu DNA) and naturliche Wirkstoffe (cytotoxische Agentien wie Bleomycine and Endiine).
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel synthesis of 5,10,15,20-tetraarylporphyrins using high-valent transition metal salts

TL;DR: In this article, a new synthesis of porphyrins from pyrrole and substituted benzaldehydes, using high-valent transition metal salts [VOCl3, VO(OEt)Cl2, VOOPri)Cl 2, TiCl4 and Mn(OAc)3] as aromatizing agents was described.

Simple metal oxides as efficient heterogeneous catalysts for epoxidation of alkenes by molecular oxygen

TL;DR: Magnetite iron oxide (Fe3O4) has been found to be an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for the epoxidation of alkenes by molecular oxygen in the absence of a sacrificial reductant among various tran...
