Self-Metalation of 2H-Tetraphenylporphyrin on Cu(111) Studied with XSW: Influence of the Central Metal Atom on the Adsorption Distance
C. Buerker,Antoni Franco-Cañellas,Katharina Broch,Tien-Lin Lee,Alexander Gerlach,Frank Schreiber +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a systematic X-ray standing wave (XSW) study of the π-conjugated organic compound 2H-tetraphenylporphyrin (2HTPP) and copper(II)-tetrameryl porphrin (CuTPP) on Cu(111) at room and low temperatures is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular structure effects in photodegradation of phenol and its chlorinated derivatives with phthalocyanines
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report on possible utilisation of sulphonated phthalocyanines as efficient oxidation catalysts for the removal of various traces of chlorinated compounds from an aquatic environment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanism of dihydrogen cleavage by high-valent metal oxo compounds: experimental and computational studies.
TL;DR: On the basis of the available evidence, a concerted mechanism for the cleavage of H(2) by metal tetraoxo compounds is proposed and density functional theory calculations strongly favor the [3 + 2] mechanism and show that the H( 2) cleavage shares some mechanistic features with related hydrocarbon oxidation reactions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Glycol metalloporphyrin derivatives in solution or immobilized on LDH and silica: synthesis, characterization and catalytic features in oxidation reactions
Kelly Aparecida Dias de Freitas Castro,Kelly Aparecida Dias de Freitas Castro,Mário M.Q. Simões,M. Graça P. M. S. Neves,José A. S. Cavaleiro,Fernando Wypych,Shirley Nakagaki +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the meso-tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porphyrin was used to obtain porphyrins substituted with one to four hydroxyalkyloxy groups at position 4.
