Combination of searches for WW, WZ, and ZZ resonances in pp collisions at s=8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2855 more
- 10 Apr 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of these searches are combined to provide a more stringent test of models predicting heavy resonances with couplings to vector bosons, and upper limits on the rate of production times branching ratio to the WZ bosons are compared with predictions of an extended gauge model with a heavy W' boson.
Journal ArticleDOI

ϒProduction inpp¯Collisions ats=1.8TeV

Fumio Abe, +412 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report on measurements of the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(1S)$, ''enuremath{1S}(2S), and ''ensuremath{3S'' (3S)$ differential, and integrated cross sections in $p\overline{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=1.8$ TeV using a sample of 16.6 ${\mathrm{pb}}^{\ensureMath{-}1}$ collected by the Collider Detector at F
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of B(t --> Wb)/B(t--> Wq) at the collider detector at fermilab.

D. Acosta, +630 more
TL;DR: In this article, a measurement of the ratio of top-quark branching fractions was presented, where q can be a b, s, or a d quark, using lepton-plus-jets and dilepton data sets with an integrated luminosity of approximately 162 pb(-1) collected with the Collider Detector at Fermilab during Run II of the Tevatron.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of distributions sensitive to the underlying event in inclusive Z-boson production in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2875 more
TL;DR: In this article, a measurement of charged particle distributions sensitive to the properties of the underlying event is presented for an inclusive sample of events containing a Z-boson, decaying to an electron or muon pair.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for a standard model Higgs boson in the H→ZZ→ℓ(+)ℓ(-)νν decay channel with the ATLAS detector.

Georges Aad, +3107 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for a heavy standard model Higgs boson decaying via H -> ZZ -> l(+)l(-)v (v) over bar, where l = e, mu, is presented.
