Observation of proton-tagged, central (semi)exclusive production of high-mass lepton pairs in pp collisions at 13 TeV with the CMS-TOTEM precision proton spectrometer

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2480 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the first observation of proton-tagged γγ collisions at the electroweak scale at the LHC was presented, where a total of 12 μ+μ− and 8 e+e− pairs with m(l+l−) > 110 GeV, and matching forward proton kinematics, were observed, with expected backgrounds of 1.49 ± 0.07 (stat) ± 0., 0.53 (syst) and 2.36 ± 0, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of inclusive production of neutral hadrons from Z decays

M. Acciarri, +503 more
- 26 May 1994 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a study of the inclusive production of π0, η, Ks0 and Λ based on 929,000 hadronic Z decays recorded with the L3 detector at LEP.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the tt̄ production cross section in pp collisions at √s=7TeV in dilepton final states containing a τ

S. Chatrchyan, +2276 more
- 19 Jun 2012 -
TL;DR: The first measurement of the t anti-t cross section explicitly including tau leptons in proton-proton collisions at square root(s) = 7 TeV was reported in this article.

Measurement of the inclusive 3-jet production differential cross section in proton–proton collisions at 7 TeV and determination of the strong coupling constant in the TeV range

Vardan Khachatryan, +2133 more
TL;DR: In this article, a measurement of the 3-jet production differential cross section at a proton-proton center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 inverse femtobarns collected with the CMS detector is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bounds on an anomalous dijet resonance in W+jets production in ppbar collisions at sqrt{s} =1.96 TeV

V. M. Abazov, +422 more
TL;DR: No evidence for anomalous resonant dijet production is found and upper limits on the production cross section of an anomalous dijet resonance recently reported by the CDF Collaboration are derived.
