TL;DR: In this article, the results of the optical and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) investigation of the Ce3+ incorporation in single crystalline film (SCF) scintillators of Ce-doped LuAlO3 perovskite, grown by the liquid phase epitaxy method onto YAlO 3 substrates using a PbO-B2O3 flux.
Abstract: This work reports the results of the optical and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) investigation of the Ce3+ incorporation in single crystalline film (SCF) scintillators of Ce-doped LuAlO3 perovskite, grown by the liquid phase epitaxy method onto YAlO3 substrates using a PbO–B2O3 flux. The absorption, luminescence and EPR spectra showed the presence of the main Ce3+ center type (CeLu) corresponding to the location of Ce3+ ions in the twelve-fold coordinated cuboctahedral positions of the LuAlO3 host. Also the dimer CeLu–CeLu centers were found in the EPR spectra of the LuAP:Ce SCFs. No EPR spectrum of the Ce3+ ions located in the octahedral positions of Al3+ cations has been detected indicating their negligibly small concentration (below 5 × 10−3 at%) in the SCFs. Pb3+ and Pt3+ impurity ions incorporated into the SCFs grown from the PbO–B2O3 flux and Pt crucible were also identified by resolving, in particular, the hyperfine structure from the 195Pt isotope in the EPR spectra.

Keywords: regular physical activity, elderly. Abstrakt W panstwach rozwinietych i rozwijających sie coraz wiekszą grupe spoleczenstw stanowią seniorzy. Bogate piśmiennictwo poruszające tematyke medycznych aspektow procesu starzenia, mowi o niezaprzeczalnym znaczeniu ruchu dla toczących sie w ludzkim ciele procesow inwolucyjnych. Ludzki organizm zaczyna starzec sie okolo 20-25 roku zycia. Zmiany dotyczą wszystkich ukladow ciala. Najbardziej odczuwalne w zyciu codziennym są te, ktore zachodzą w ukladzie krązeniowo-oddechowym i mieśniowo-szkieletowym. Trening fizyczny dla osoby starszej, aby byl skuteczny i bezpieczny, powinien byc skonstruowany i nadzorowany przez specjaliste. Abstract In developed and developing countries an increasing group of societies are seniors. Awareness of the problem has led to widespread discussion of experts and practitioners from the fields of medical devices on the need for the measures necessary to ensure that societies successful old age. For a long time, indicates that the lack of motor activity is dangerous to health. Aging of the cardiovascular system is accompanied by a lot of adverse structural changes and biochemical function. For typical of this period of change is believed to be weakening the possibility of relaxation of the muscle fibers, which may cause diastolic heart failure. Training of health-is a type of physical activity performed for medical reasons. The goal is to get mental and physical effects against reducing the adaptability of the body. Experts are finding older people about the benefits of a physically active lifestyle. Rich writing evocative theme of medical aspects of the aging process, speaks of undeniable importance for traffic in human flesh involutional processes. Physical activity appropriately dosed is able to clearly reduce the negative impact of these changes and as long as you can afford to maintain the physical, mental and social health. It was noted that systematically dosed exercise reduces the risk of many diseases, eg. diabetes mellitus, atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease. Numerous scientific studies and extensive external links gerontologiczne submit the latest reports of professionals about how to properly prepare and conduct physical training with the elderly. The human body begins to age about 20-25 years of age. The changes apply to all body systems. Most felt in everyday life are the ones that occur in the breathing cardiopulmonary and musculo-skeletal. Physical training for older persons, in order to be effective and safe, should be designed and supervised by a specialist.

TL;DR: The adult of this species is the largest of known species of Achipteria Berlese, 1885, and has seta in inserted on the inner part of wide lamella, which is rare in this genus; most species have this seta inserted near the base of the lamella.
Abstract: The morphological ontogeny of Achipteria gigantea sp. nov. from northern Spain is described and illustrated. The adult of this species is the largest of known species of Achipteria Berlese, 1885, and has seta in inserted on the inner part of wide lamella, approximately 1/3 of the total length from its base, which is rare in this genus; most species have this seta inserted near the base of the lamella. The tarsi of A. gigantea are heterodactylous and dorsally serrate, but the outer claws are thinner and has longer dens than the middle claw. The juveniles of A. gigantea are plicate, as other species of Achipteria, but the subsequent instars are larger than congeners and most gastronotal setae are thicker and with denser barbs than in other species; some setae on femora, genua and tibiae on legs are also thicker. The leg claws of juveniles of A. gigantea are also serrate, but in the larva the dens are longer than in the nymphs. The ontogeny of A. gigantea is compared with that of congeners, and the morphology of the adult of this species is compared with other species of Achipteria. Three subgenera of Achipteria (Cubachipteria Balogh & Mahunka, 1979, Izuachipteria Balogh & Mahunka, 1979 and Hokkachipteria Balogh & Mahunka, 1979) and Parachipteria Hammen, 1952 are provisionally considered as junior synonyms of Achipteria.
