Differential t t ¯ $$ t\overline{t} $$ cross-section measurements using boosted top quarks in the all-hadronic final state with 139 fb^−1 of ATLAS data

Georges Aad, +2834 more
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for flavour-changing neutral-current interactions of a top quark and a gluon in pp collisions at $$\sqrt{s}=13$$ TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2839 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a search for the production of a single top quark via left-handed flavour-changing neutral-current (FCNC) interactions of a top particle, a gluon and an up or charm quark is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Erratum to: Search for supersymmetry in final states with two same-sign or three leptons and jets using 36 fb−1 of s$ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV pp collision data with the ATLAS detector

Morad Aaboud, +2934 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for supersymmetry in final states with two same-sign or three leptons and jets using 36 fb-1 of √s = 13 TeV pp collision data with the ATLAS detector is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inclusive hadron production in e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilation at = 53 GeV/sup 2/

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used a small solid-angle magnetic spectrometer with good particle identification at 90/sup 0/ to the beams at SPEAR II to report on inclusive hadron production in e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilation at < s < or = = 53 GeV/sup 2/
Proceedings ArticleDOI

The ATLAS level-1 barrel muon trigger performances

TL;DR: The level-1 muon trigger of ATLAS is expected to select events with high transverse momentum muons and associate them with the correct bunch-crossing as discussed by the authors, and the trigger and readout chain is based on custom ASIC chips, which perform both the time and spatial coincidence with programmable roads and signal time shaping, and the readout, with a time resolution of 1/8 of a bunch crossing.
