Journal ArticleDOI

Search for New Phenomena in Final States with Two Leptons and One or No b-Tagged Jets at sqrt[s]=13 TeV Using the ATLAS Detector.

Georges Aad, +2879 more
TL;DR: Inspired by the B-meson decay anomalies, a four-fermion contact interaction between two quarks and two leptons is used as a benchmark signal model, which is characterized by the energy scale and coupling, Λ and g_{*}, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of electroweak production of two jets in association with an isolated photon and missing transverse momentum, and search for a Higgs boson decaying into invisible particles at 13 $$\text {TeV}$$ with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2832 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors present a measurement of the electroweak production of two jets in association with a $Z\gamma$ pair, with the $Z$ boson decaying into two neutrinos.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for the HH -> b(b)over-barb(b)over-bar process via vector-boson fusion production using proton-proton collisions at root s = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector (vol 7, 108, 2020)

Georges Aad, +3020 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a wrong cross-section was used for the theory prediction in figure 6 due to not taking into account the VHH contamination properly in the rescaling formula for the signal samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Performance of a Front End prototype ASIC for picosecond precision time measurements with LGAD sensors.

TL;DR: In this article, the analog stages (preamplifier and discriminator) of the read-out chip were tested on the first prototype of a front-end ASIC, named ALTIROC0, which was characterised both alone and as part of a module with a 2$\times$2 LGAD array of 1.1 mm$^2$ pads bump-bonded to it.
Journal ArticleDOI

- 11 May 2022 -
TL;DR: In this article , a search for resonant Higgs boson pair production in the $b\bar{b}b \bar{ b}$ final state is presented. But the analysis is divided into two channels, targeting Higgs particle decays which are reconstructed as pairs of small-radius jets or as individual large-radius jet.
