Abstract: Purpose. In the paper it is necessary to: 1) f ind out the causes of turnouts faults to determine diagnostic features failure s; 2) consider the requirements structure, purpose components of turnouts, work and technology of their maintenance to determine the construction of the economic activities related to system to the turnout’s maintenance; 3) substantiate the possibility, necessity and prospects of automated diagnostics turnout’s implementation; 4) elaborate a prototype of an automated hardware and software system for the turnouts control parameters and perform diagnostics on them. Methodology. In the paper possible turnouts faults were presented and manifestations and influence on its work were shown. According to the current technology works the process analyze of turnouts’ maintenance was conducted, were defined the basic performed operations during the examination of appearance, parameters and check the repair or replacement of parts and assemblies. Based on the analysis of reasons of turnouts malfunctioning and their fixes were systematized types of damages and ways to deal with them, an information scheme of troubleshooting were created, opportunities and limits of automating the process of diagnostics were identified and compared with the existing method of turnouts maintenance. A diagnostics system block diagram was created, an algorithm of its work was developed and established main basic principles of operation. Software and hardware to determine the turnout’s state considering diagnostic performance of points in use were applied. Findings. During the experiment was created a method of automated turnout’s diagnostics with AC electric drives, managed centrally. The results of automated hardware and software system make it possible to control turnout’s parameters and perform diagnostics on them. Originality. Authors created the method of turnout’s state determination by current curve and its spectral composition in the circle of turnout electric motor. The de hardware and software centralized point’s diagnostics complex was developed. Practical value. Thanks to the obtained results the operation safety due to a time workers decrease in the area of train’s movement is increased. The human factor in the performance of measurements is eliminated. Hiding and concealment the facts of turnouts malfunction are not possible.

Abstract: Purpose. The paper is devoted to dynamic characteristics e valuation of the locomotive with prospective design and determination the feasibility of its use on the Ukrainian railways. Methodology. The methods of mathematical and computer modeling of the dynamics of railway vehicles, as well as methods for the numerical integration of systems of ordinary nonlinear differential equations were used to solve the problem. Findings. The calculated diagram of a locomotive on three-axle bogies was built to solve the problem, and it is a system of rigid bodies connected by various elements of rheology. The mathematical model of the locomotive movement, allowing studying its spatial vibrations at driving on straight and curved sections of the track with random irregularities in plan and profile was developed with use of this calculated diagram. At compiling the mathematical model took into account both geometric (nonlinearity profile of the wheel roll surface) and physical nonlinearity of the system (the work forces of dry friction, nonlinearity characteristics of interaction forces between wheels and rails). The multivariate calculations, which allowed assessing the dynamic qualities of the locomotive at its movement along straight and curved sections of the track, were realized with the use of computer modeling. The smoothness movement indicators of the locomotive in horizontal and vertical planes, frame strength, coefficients of vertical dynamics in the first and second stages of the suspension, the load factor of resistance against the derailment of the wheel from the rail were determined at the period of research. In addition, a comparison of the obtained results with similar characteristics is widely used on the Ukrainian railways in six-axle locomotive TE 116. The influence of speed and technical state of the track on the locomotive traffic safety was determined. Originality. A mathematical model of the spatial movement of a six-axle locomotive with prospective design, taking into account the peculiarities of its design was developed. Evaluation of dynamic characteristics at the carriage movement along a track of arbitrary shape was made. Practical value. The developed mathematical model of the six-axle locomotive movement can be used at conducting research on development of advanced locomotives designs.

Abstract: Мета. Тягові розрахунки з визначенням енергозаощаджуючих траєкторій передбачають пошук раціональної залежності витрат енергоресурсів із часом ходу поїзда. При виборі енергозаощаджуючих траєкторій руху поїзда та при розробці режимних карт ведення поїздів необхідно враховувати змінні параметри, такі як: профіль ділянки, масу поїзда, серію локомотива та ін. При зростанні швидкості руху відбувається збільшення опору руху, який пропорційний квадрату швидкості, що призводить до підвищення витрат паливно-енергетичних ресурсів. Навпаки, зниження витрат через зменшення швидкості руху призводять до збільшення часу ходу поїзда, який має бути узгодженим із графіком руху та іншими техніко-економічними параметрами, залежними від швидкості руху. В статті розглянуто один із способів зменшення витрат енергоресурсів на тягу поїздів. Метою статті є зменшення витрат енергоресурсів за рахунок визначення енергозаощаджуючих режимів керування локомотивом. Це відбувається за умови оптимізації функції керуючих впливів по часу ходу поїзда та витраті енергоресурсів при веденні поїзда з моменту закінчення розгону до переходу на режим вибігу. Методика. Методика вибору енергозаощаджуючої траєкторії руху поїзда та управління потужністю електровозів та тепловозів із електричною передачею передбачає розрахунок багатоваріантних траєкторій із варіативними вихідними даними параметрів складу та поїзної ситуації. Методика враховує математичні методи рівномірного пошуку та параметричної оптимізації . Для рівномірності руху необхідно, щоб прискорюючі сили врівноважували сповільнюючі. Результати. На підставі багатоваріантних розрахунків удосконалено алгоритм визначення енергозаощаджуючих траєкторій руху поїзда, побудовано багатопараметричну функцію управління потужністю локомотива, яка дозволяє зменшити витрати енергоресурсів від 11 до 13 %, залежно від маси поїзда та поїзної ситуації. Наукова новизна. Автором отримані енергозаощаджуючі функції управління тягою локомотива для відповідних рівномірних швидкостей, які залежать від маси поїзда та ухилу. Практична значимість. На відміну від існуючих розробок раціонального ведення поїздів, дана функція потребує значно менше машинного часу при високій точності розрахунків. Це дає можливість її впровадження в бортову систему керування локомотивом та економії енергоресурсів.

As a result of researches it is offered to establish different the approach to an establishment of admitted speeds of movement for empty and full cars.

Abstract: The problem considered in the work is concerned to monitoring of signal disturbances occurred in the audio frequency track circuits (AFTC). Track circuits are designed to detect the presence or absence of a train in a particular section of the rail track, and therefore, they are main and safety critical components of an automatic train control systems. Deterioration of the AFTC components appeared during their operation, as well as electromagnetic interference and adverse weather conditions can significantly change the signal current parameters, which can lead to dangerous situations for train movement. To ensure safety of railway signalling system, it is necessary to use an automatic diagnostic system that allows timely detection of appearance of significant disturbances in AFTC signal. The use for this purpose the classifiers with sharp boundaries for input diagnostic parameters and strict rules for signal classification does not allows to reveal incipient defects that arise in the ALSN system. The work investigates the effectiveness of using adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) and wavelet packet energy Shannon entropy (WPESE) for timely detecting of signal disturbances in audio frequency track circuits. The obtained results confirmed the efficiency of AFTC signal processing using ANFIS and WPESE for detecting of railway sections with unstable or faulty track circuits operation.
