TL;DR: The method of calculation of probabilities of discontiguous cuts’ divisions on the switch points is developed and the researches as for connection these probabilities with the parameters of the trains are executed.
Abstract: The method of calculation of probabilities of discontiguous cuts’ divisions on the switch points is developed. The researches as for connection these probabilities with the parameters of the trains are executed. The researches also tackle the problem of the connection between the above mentioned probabilities and the construction of the hump neck.

TL;DR: In this article, a simplified design approach for estimating the influence of the main constructional features of shearwalls on their rigidity has been developed, which can be used to provide spatial rigidity.
Abstract: Abstract For low-rise buildings frame technologies using lightweight thin-wall steel constructions have become significantly widespread. The main influence on a building’s spatial rigidity under lateral forces is taken by shearwalls. The necessary stiffness can be accomplished by setting definite constructional parameters that are selected according to the design approach. The purposes of the work are to receive the dependencies of the influence of the constructional features on the stiffness of the shearwalls (using FEM models) and to set the value of the stiffness of the shearwall of any configuration by linking its parameters with the corresponding parameters of a standard shearwall through the established dependencies. The received dependencies of the effect of the main constructional factors and design approach for the stiffness of shear-walls can be used to provide spatial rigidity. A simplified design approach for estimating the influence of the main constructional features of shearwalls on their rigidity has been developed.

TL;DR: In this article, a full-scale experimental study of the rock spallation by means of plasma jets is carried out, where the aim of the experimental study was the measurement of the thermal power of plasma, weight of rock spalls and duration of the plasma jets influence on the borehole surface.
Abstract: Full-scale experimental study of the rock spallation by means of plasma jets is carried out. The aim of the experimental study was the measurement of the thermal power of plasma, weight of the rock spalls and duration of the plasma jets influence on the borehole surface. For the weight measurement of the rock spalls VT-200 analytical balance was used. In experimental study plasma jets flow out directly into the borehole of the granite block. The borehole and nozzles parameters of the plasmatron are complied with geometrical similarity. Experimental data are processed in the form of the energy consumption dependence of the thermal reaming of the borehole from the duration of the thermal treatment of the borehole surface. The results of the study could be applied to the borehole drilling processes.

TL;DR: In this paper, the analysis of one of the most common structural designs of the steel frame of small spans, currently used in India in construction and reconstruction for seismic areas, is devoted to the analysis.
Abstract: This article is devoted to the analysis of one of the most common structural designs of the steel frame of small spans, currently used in India in construction and reconstruction for seismic areas. This scheme constructively involves the implementation of the main bearing elements - bolts and columns - in the form of a spatial truss box section. At the same time, rather simple rolling profiles from small-sized corners are used, as well as a round steel bar. The studies performed by the authors were carried out using the finite element method based on the national design computing complex SCAD for Windows. The loads, as well as the geometrical characteristics of the profiles, were taken according to the current building standards of India. Based on the results of the analysis, a number of recommendations were formulated to improve the efficiency of the considered design scheme for seismic effects of varying intensity.
