TL;DR: Four isostructural inorganic-organic hybrid ferroelectric compounds, assembled from achiral 3-R-benzylidene-1-aminopyridiniums and [PbI(3)](-) anions with the chiral Kagomé-shaped tubular aggregating architecture, show larger spontaneous polarizations.
Abstract: Four isostructural inorganic−organic hybrid ferroelectric compounds, assembled from achiral 3-R-benzylidene-1-aminopyridiniums (R = NO2, Br, Cl, or F for 1−4, respectively) and [PbI3]− anions with the chiral Kagome-shaped tubular aggregating architecture, show larger spontaneous polarizations.

••
TL;DR: It is reported that the ambient electrocatalytic N2 reduction activity of a β-FeOOH nanorod can be greatly improved by fluorine doping, and the enhancement in activity originates from the lower reaction energy barrier of the Nanorod than that of β- FeOOH.
