Juventude e politicas públicas em rorainópolis: uma questão de identidade

Abstract: Alem de outros atributos, o papel fundamental que norteia o eixo executor das politicas publicas e tambem a afirmacao continua da identidade do grupo para a qual e direcionada. Compreende-se o grau de importância que as politicas publicas tem para a regiao amazonica, englobando sua mega diversidade; por outro lado, entende-se tambem que essas politicas nao podem ser pautadas em grandiosos projetos sem que nao haja uma interacao direta com o publico alvo. Partindo dessa premissa, acredita-se que as politicas publicas se tornam mais eficientes quando estruturadas dentro de uma metodologia que parta do especifico para o geral. E nessa perspectiva que surge a inquietacao de pensar as politicas publicas de maneira mais especificas, direcionada para grupos especificos, o que transmite uma percepcao mais coerente, com uma possibilidade mais plausivel de atingir seus objetivos. Uma das consequencias, quando as politicas publicas conseguem atingir diretamente seus objetivos, e gerar uma continuidade afirmativa da identidade do grupo atingido por elas, e a juventude rural e um desses grupos. A falta de tais politicas contribui para a migracao desta juventude em direcao a cidade, onde muitos deles acabam reconfigurando sua identidade.

Abstract: A pesquisa Producao do espaco urbano em area de fronteira: Pacaraima/Roraima/Brasil, busca entender a cidade no processo de estruturacao da sociedade evidenciada por meio das dimensoes politicas e economicas, expressas pelo sujeito social no espaco em area de fronteira, com olhar orientado para a problematica mais estrutural e estrategica do desenvolvimento; tendo como caracterizacao primordial os fatores politicos, por meio de levantamentos do processo historico-socio-politico regional, entendendo as transformacoes ocorridas sob a influencia de politicas publicas implementadas pelo Estado, apos 1990, detectando e contextualizando os diferentes periodos de ocupacao procurando mostrar a producao do espaco em area de fronteira com sobreposicao de territorialidades, que se fundem e se completam, alterando os referenciais identitarios no espaco e no tempo.

New distributional records and life stage description of Caenis species (Ephemeroptera: Caenidae) from Brazil

Abstract: The genus Caenis Stephens, 1835 is well represented in South America with 24 recorded species (14 in Brazil). Based on additional material from Brazil, we describe for the first time the nymphal and egg stages of C. reissi , and re-describe the eggs of C. cuniana . New distributional records for these species and Caenis elidioi are given, and C. teipunensis (previously described from Venezuela) is reported for the first time from Brazil.

A ajuda na saúde como práxis política num município do Estado do Rio de Janeiro: uma abordagem etnográfica

Abstract: This article addresses the political logics that turned health assistance into a political praxis in a municipality of Rio de Janeiro, from an ethnographic perspective. It shows that the emergence of this practice predates the creation of the municipality and has persisted after municipal emancipation. Its preservation is the result of the convergence of different variables in a context in which moral obligation, arising from emotional and affective bonds, is articulated with the purposeful use of assistance. Between obligation and interest, health assistance becomes an important social mechanism that fosters the rise of politicians and the legitimization of their political careers.

O perfil social de mulheres eleitas em Roraima (2014–2016): The social profile of women elected in Roraima (2014–2016)

Abstract: This article intends to present the social profile of women elected in Roraima since the 2014 election, based on the advent of Law 12.034 / 2009, which establishes the rules for the Brazilian elections. For that we used four elected women. Ex-Governor Suely Campos from the Progressive Party (PP); the mayor of the capital Boa Vista, Teresa Surita from the Brazilian Democratic Movement Party (PMDB); federal deputy Sheridan Esterfany Oliveira de Anchieta from the Brazilian Social Democratic Party (PSDB); and Ex-Senator Angela Maria Gomes Portela from the Democratic Labor Party (PDT). We immersed ourselves in the biographical universe of each of them through prosopography, and with this we could verify the social ascension strategy based on the dynamics of social networks and check the continuity of certain political groups in Roraima. In this way, we understand that the direct presence of kinship relations has become an effective instrument for the maintenance of political power. We realize that through the networks of power and protection, politicians are able to remain in positions of command.
