Synthesis, characterization and thermogravimetric study of Dy and Sm 12-crown-4 bipy, terpy and phen complexes

Abstract: The synthesis, characterization and thermogravimetric study of [Sm(12C4)(H2O)4]Cl3, [Dy(12C4)(H2O)4]Cl3, [Sm(12C4)(bipy)(H2O)2]Cl3, [Dy(12C4)(bipy)(H2O)2]Cl3, [Sm(12C4)(bipy)(phen)]Cl3, [Dy(12C4)(bipy)(phen)]Cl3, [Sm(12C4)(phen)2]Cl3, [Dy(12C4)(phen)2]Cl3, [Sm(12C4)(terpy)(H2O)]Cl3 and [Dy(12C4)(terpy)(H2O)]Cl3 (12C4 = 12-crown-4; bipy = bipyridine; phen = 1,10-phanathroline; terpy = terpyridine) are reported. All compounds exhibit CN = 8 and four oxygen–lanthanide bonds of the crown ether provide a very stable (from the thermal point of view) chemical environment, since the crown ether molecules are the last organic moiety to be released under heating.

First report of anthracnose on Spigelia anthelmia caused by Colletotrichum karstii and Colletotrichum siamense in Brazil

Abstract: In Brazil, Spigelia anthelmia is an herbaceous weedy plant normally used for the treatment of helminths in humans and animals. Leaves and stems of S. anthelmia showing black spots were observed in cities in the Northeast region of Brazil. Two fungal species were isolated from symptomatic tissues. The preliminary identification of the fungal isolates was based on morphological characteristics. To confirm the identification of the isolates, the ITS region and partial sequences of the ACT and GAPDH genes were amplified and sequenced. By using morphological and phylogenetic analyses of multilocus genes, the fungi were identified as Colletotrichum karstii and Colletotrichum siamense. All isolates were pathogenic to S. anthelmia seedlings. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of C. karstii and C. siamense causing anthracnose on S. anthelmia in the world.

Diagnostico e avaliação de sustentabilidade do projeto de produção agroecológica integrada sustentável - pais em assentamento agrícola no estado de roraima

Abstract: A busca por uma agricultura mais sustentavel que respeite o produtor e consumidor, integrada ao meio ambiente, apontam para as praticas agroecologicas. Neste contexto, essa pesquisa buscou diagnosticar e avaliar a sustentabilidade das Unidades de Tecnologia Social - UTS no projeto de Producao Agroecologica Integrada Sustentavel – PAIS, PA Nova Amazonia, Boa Vista - RR. Foi desenvolvida em duas etapas, formalizacao de uma rede de informantes e a de campo, utilizou-se questionarios semiestruturados, considerando as Caracterizacoes Socioculturais e da Unidade de Producao, Indicadores Tecnico, Aspectos de Mercado e Economicos, Descritores Gerais, Opinioes do Produtor, determinando assim os indicadores de sustentabilidade a serem avaliados. A analise dos resultados seguiu a metodologia da ameba (Nicollis), a partir dos indicadores de sustentabilidade, possibilitando a comparacao dos niveis de sustentabilidade dos agroecossistemas, a analise de variância e o teste “t” de Student a 5%. Foram selecionadas 14 das 60 UTS, por permanecerem na proposta do projeto. Os principais problemas detectados: estiagem prolongada, falta de mao de obra, incidencia de pragas e doencas, fogo, baixa escolaridade e envelhecimento dos produtores. O agroecossistema 12 obteve o melhor resultado, indice 6, os agroecossistemas com valores dos indices entre 5 e 8, estao entre o minimo e um desempenho satisfatorio de sustentabilidade e inferiores a 5, sao suficientemente sustentaveis. Desta forma os agroecossistemas 3, 5, 11 e 14, indices 5, limitrofe, os agroecossistemas 13 e 1, indice 4, iguais estatisticamente aos anteriormente, mas com indices insuficientes a sustentabilidade.

Das intenções geniais aos contextos literários reais: um breve percurso das noções de autoria e recepção

Abstract: This paper is about the categories of "genius" and “intention” as related to the history of literary practices in the West. Starting with a chronicle by Nelson Rodrigues about the notion of genius in soccer, its flaws, errors and brilliant misunderstandings, we will question the possibility of authorial intentionality being considered today as one of the basic elements of literary investigation, using concepts referring to authorship and reception in literary studies.
