Abstract: This work had as main focus the accomplishment of a survey of theses and dissertations in the Thesis Bank of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – Capes – to compose a Systematic Review (RS) on the study of language in postgraduate programs in education. and education, from the Amazon region. The research was based on the following objectives: know theses and dissertations produced in postgraduate programs in education and teaching in the Amazon region on language; to present the methodological path and the theoretical basis of theses and dissertations about language in the period from 2013 to 2018; and to analyze the scientific productions that approached the Language besides identifying the categories, their function and their contribution to education and teaching. The results indicated productions in mathematical and scientific language, cognitive process and oral and written language, being more evidenced in the analyzed scientific productions, and a limited scientific production about the language in the Amazon region.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a research carried out within a Master in Education Program in which they try to understand the way through which teachers who work in Special Education constitute their Professional Identity in this moment when discussions point out towards Inclusive education.
Abstract: We present a research carried out within a Master in Education Program in which we try to understand the way through which teachers who work in Special Education constitute their Professional Identity in this moment when discussions point out towards Inclusive Education. We identified the factors that contributed in the life histories with which these teachers have built their professional identity, so that they can position themselves as Special Education teachers. We took as theoretical reference the historical- cultural perspective, especially the studies of Baktin and Vygotsky. In the collective interviews carried out with a group of seven teachers of public schools of Roraima, we studied the process of identity constitution of those teachers considering their personal, academic and professional life history, identifying the marking influence of the present structure of organization of teacher work in their professional profiles.

TL;DR: An analysis of cattle slaughter in the state of Roraima, Brazil, from 2008 to 2013, based on data from cattle slaughtered in a slaughterhouse under state inspection and prices charged by a meat cooperative, found that the main losses were a result of tuberculosis and lesions on whole carcasses and hindquarter.
Abstract: The objective of this study was to undertake an analysis of cattle slaughter in the state of Roraima, Brazil, from 2008 to 2013, on the basis of need for information on this sector in the state. The study was conducted in Boa Vista, in April 2014, based on data from cattle slaughtered in a slaughterhouse under state inspection and prices charged by a meat cooperative. The data was processed in Microsoft Office Excel 2010 spreadsheets and subjected to descriptive analysis. In the evaluated period, 328,872 cattle were slaughtered (n= 231,587 males; n= 97,285 females) originating from the municipalities of Mucajai (29.22%), Canta (19.02%), Iracema (12.37%), and Alto Alegre (11.19%). From 2008 to 2010, the percentage of females remained stable, with monthly increases occurring from 2011 onwards. The total slaughter resulted in the production of 75,137.810 t of hot carcass (n= 57,636.231 (t) males; n= 17,501.579 (t) females). Eighty-nine carcasses were condemned for the following main causes: tuberculosis (52%), suppurative lesions and abscesses (34%), repulsive meat (11%), death in the pen (2%), and brucellosis (1%). Practically half (49.44%) of these were observed in whole carcasses, followed by the hindquarters (30.34%), forequarters (15.73%), and half-carcasses (4.49%), resulting in the loss of 12,525 kg, which would generate revenues close to BRL 50,000. The slaughtered animals mainly belonged to municipalities near the state capital Boa Vista, with a total production of over 75,000 t of carcass, and the main losses due to condemnation were a result of tuberculosis and lesions on whole carcasses and hindquarter. KEYWORDS: Animal production, Beef, Carcasses, Pathologies, Economic losses.

TL;DR: The NDNS model, when compared to four metrics of centrality, achieved 93% precision and 94% recall in detecting fraudulent values against 38% and 51%, respectively, of the second-best positioned measures.
Abstract: This paper proposes the NDNS (Nodes Detection using Network Science) model that, using complex networks theory, aims to find the most relevant nodes in a multi-network scenario in a more efficient way than well-known and established centrality metrics. The paper uses, as a case study, a Brazillian corruption investigation of public tenders known as Ghost Bidder operation. Considering four years of investigation, the NDNS model, when compared to four metrics of centrality (betweenness, eigenvector, weighted degree, page rank, and its normalized geometric mean), achieved 93% precision and 94% recall in detecting fraudulent values against 38% and 51%, respectively, of the second-best positioned measures.
