FCC Physics Opportunities: Future Circular Collider Conceptual Design Report Volume 1

A. Abada, +1504 more
TL;DR: In this article, the physics opportunities of the Future Circular Collider (FC) were reviewed, covering its e+e-, pp, ep and heavy ion programs, and the measurement capabilities of each FCC component, addressing the study of electroweak, Higgs and strong interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Extra families, Higgs spectrum, and oblique corrections

TL;DR: In particular, the precision bound on the standard model-like Higgs boson mass was shown to be significantly relaxed in the presence of an extra relatively light chiral family as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Supersymmetry Parameter Analysis: SPA Convention and Project

Juan Antonio Aguilar-Saavedra, +128 more
TL;DR: In this article, a supersymmetry Parameter Analysis SPA (SPA) scheme is proposed based on a consistent set of conventions and input parameters, which connect parameters in different schemes and relate the Lagrangian parameters to physical observables at LHC and high energy e+e-linear collider experiments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Supersymmetry parameter analysis : SPA convention and project

Juan Antonio Aguilar-Saavedra, +128 more
TL;DR: In this article, a supersymmetry Parameter Analysis SPA (SPA) scheme is proposed based on a consistent set of conventions and input parameters, which connect parameters in different schemes and relate the Lagrangian parameters to physical observables at LHC and high energy e(+)e(-) linear collider experiments, i.e., masses, mixings, decay widths and production cross sections for supersymmetric particles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unitarity of compactified five-dimensional Yang–Mills theory

TL;DR: In this article, the authors explicitly demonstrate that the scattering of the massive vector bosons is unitary at tree-level for low energies, and analyze the relationship between the unitarity violation scale in the KK theory and the non-renormalizability scale in five-dimensional Yang-Mills theory.
