Measurement of the top quark mass using the invariant mass of lepton pairs in soft muon b-tagged events

T. Aaltonen, +636 more
- 08 Sep 2009 -
TL;DR: The first measurement of the mass of the top quark in a sample of t (t) over bar collision data was presented in this paper, where the invariant mass of a subset of the decay particles, specifically the lepton from the W boson of the t -> Wb decay and the muon from a semileptonic b decay, was exploited.

A search for $B-L$ $R$-parity-violating top squarks in $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV $pp$ collisions with the ATLAS experiment

Morad Aaboud, +2890 more
- 01 Jan 2017 -
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the flavour composition of dijet events in pp collisions at s√=7 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2896 more
TL;DR: In this article, a measurement of the flavour composition of dijet events produced in pp collisions at sqrt{s}=7 TeV using the ATLAS detector is described. But the measurement uses the full 2010 data sample, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 39 pb^-1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for production of resonant states in the photon-jet mass distribution using pp collisions at √s=7TeV collected by the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +3046 more
TL;DR: This Letter describes a model-independent search for the production of new resonant states in photon+jet events in 2.11 fb(-1) of proton-proton collisions at √s=7 TeV, finding consistency with the background-only hypothesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for Anomalous Production of Events with Two Photons and Additional Energetic Objects at CDF

T. Aaltonen, +615 more
- 29 Sep 2010 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for anomalous production of two photons together with an electron, muon, τ lepton, missing transverse energy, or jets using pp collision data from 1.1-2.0
