12 Mar 2009TL;DR: In this paper, a modular terminal is described, in particular to be locked onto a support rail, comprising a terminal housing, a busbar, and two terminal elements for connecting two conductors to the busbar.
Abstract: Described is a modular terminal, in particular to be locked onto a support rail (2), comprising a terminal housing (3), a busbar (4), and two terminal elements (5, 6) for connecting two conductors to the busbar (4). Two functional slots (8, 9, 10) are formed at both connecting ends in the terminal housing (3). Corresponding to the first functional slot (8), a first connection possibility for a first test socket (11) or a test plug, and, corresponding to the second functional slot (9), a second connection possibility for a fixed link (12) or a jumper (13) are formed in the busbar (4). In order to be able to mount the testing and switching equipment in a particularly simple and flexible manner in the modular terminal, an additional third functional slot (10) is formed at both connecting ends in the terminal housing (3), a third connection possibility corresponding to the third functional slot (10) is formed at both connecting ends in the busbar (4), and the connection possibilities in the busbar (4) are designed as openings (14, 15, 16) into which test sockets (11), test plugs, fixed links (12), or jumpers (13) can be alternatively plugged.

18 Sep 1992TL;DR: In this paper, a spring steel clamp element was used for clamping an inserted electrical lead fitted in an insulating clamp terminal housing, with a reception space for the clamp element and an insertion opening for the lead which was engaged by a counter bearing arm.
Abstract: The clamp terminal has a spring steel clamp element (1) for clamping an inserted electrical lead fitted in an insulating clamp terminal housing (3). The latter has a reception space (4) for the clamp element and an insertion opening (5) for the lead which is engaged by a counter bearing arm (8) of the clamp element. A relatively movable separation element (12) fits between the counter bearing arm (8) and the spring clamp arm (9) of the clamp element, with respective conductors fitted between each of the arms and the separation element. ADVANTAGE - Simple clamping of two adjacent conductors.

27 Mar 2013TL;DR: In this article, an electromechanical relay is provided, comprising a magnetic system and a pivotable armature, and a diagnostic switch is arranged on one side of the relay, and the set of contacts of the diagnostic switch are driven by the adjacent leg of the armature.
Abstract: An electromechanical relay is provided, comprising a magnetic system and a pivotable armature. A diagnostic switch is arranged on one side of the relay, and the set of contacts of the diagnostic switch is driven by the adjacent leg of the armature. A load switch is arranged on the bottom side of the relay and is driven by the second leg of the armature via an insulating coupling member.

21 Feb 1997TL;DR: In this article, an electrical multi-pole modular plug-and-socket-type connector with an associated socket part is described, where the PE module (7) contacts at least one insertable PE socket module (15) at the apparatus end.
Abstract: The invention concerns an electrical multi-pole modular plug-and-socket-type connector (1) with an associated socket part (35), each having a frame (5, 11) for holding mutually corresponding contact modules (6a, 6b, 7) which are equipped with connections for a corresponding number of conductors of a multi-wire conductor cable (3). At least one insertable PE module (7) of a half contact module raster is provided in order to transfer an electrical potential from the plug end to the apparatus end. The PE module (7) contacts at least one insertable PE socket module (15) at the apparatus end. A bridge (9, 17) disposed on the holder frame (5) and/or attachment frame (11) between the PE modules (7) or PE socket modules (15) enables the corresponding contact modules (6a, 6b, 7, 14a, 14b, 15) to be freely combined in their selection and arrangement. At the same time, the fitting of socket modules (14a, 14b, 15) laterally by means of locking devices (33) to form a compact module block (14) facilitates the connection to a printed circuit board (19) and the securing thereof.
