28 Jul 2006TL;DR: In this article, a safety switching unit (900) is proposed, with which a safety device, preferably an electric drive, can be controlled into a safe state by using a microprocessor or microcontroller.
Abstract: The invention relates to a safety switching unit, with which a safety device, preferably an electric drive, can be controlled into a safe state. The safety switching unit (900) comprises a microprocessor or microcontroller (822) that, for example, can control an electric drive to be protected both when actuating an emergency switch, protective door switch and/or two-hand switch as well as during a faulty operation of the safety switching unit or of the electric drive into a safe state. To this end, the microprocessor (822) is preferably designed so that it can determine from at least one analog signal to be measured whether a predetermined parameter, preferably the amplitude of the analog signal, lies outside a predetermined operating range. In addition, the microprocessor (822) can be a component of a safety device (810), which is configured for the multichannel controlling of a safety electric drive. This enables the safety switching unit (900) to be able to respond to a number of safety functions that are independent of one another in order to control an electric drive into a safe state. In addition, the risk of a wiring error in a compact safety switching unit is considerably reduced compared to known measures.

04 Feb 2008TL;DR: In this article, a junction box and a connecting box for a photovoltaic solar module are presented, which when assembled, is installed on the solar module with the contact clip(s) (22) open.
Abstract: The invention relates to a junction box and a connecting box (1) for a photovoltaic solar module (24), which when assembled, is installed on the solar module (24) with the contact clip(s) (22) open. The contact clip(s) are actively closed in order to establish contact with the flat conductor strip (s) (28). The contact clip(s) (22) are actuated, preferably automatically by means of a movement between two housing parts (2,50) during installation.

25 Sep 2009TL;DR: In this paper, an electric plug-in connection system consisting of a contact device and an EH connector for the electric connection of the EH to the contact device, and a coding system for avoiding accidental contacts is described.
Abstract: The invention relates to an electric plug-in connection system (1) comprising a contact device (2) and an electric plug-in connector (3) for the electric connection of the electric plug-in connector (3) to the contact device (2), and comprising a coding system (4) for avoiding accidental contacts. For this purpose, the coding system (4) comprises three coding devices (5, 6, 7) that are independent of each other for coding.

08 Nov 2007TL;DR: An electrical series terminal with a terminal housing, with two conductor connecting elements located in it, and with two current busses, with first end regions assigned to a conductor connecting element and second end regions of which together form an elastic contact region for accommodating the contact plug of a test plug as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: An electrical series terminal with a terminal housing, with two conductor connecting elements located in it, and with two current busses, first end regions of which are each assigned to a conductor connecting element and second end regions of which together form an elastic contact region for accommodating the contact plug of a test plug. In the electrical series terminal, when the test plug is inserted into the test opening, elastic contact legs of the second end regions are bent back relative to one another and which together form a second elastic contact region for holding the contact plug of a test plug. The second contact region in the insertion direction is located in front of the first contact region so that an inserted contact plug first makes contact with the second contact region and only upon further insertion with the first contact region.
