TL;DR: A modular terminal block for connecting leads or wires to an electrical body includes a module stack of side-by-side module assemblies and an alignment plate as mentioned in this paper, which accurately positions the conductors despite variations in housing dimension due to manufacturing tolerances.
Abstract: A modular terminal block for connecting leads or wires to an electrical body includes a module stack of side-by-side module assemblies and an alignment plate. Each module assembly includes a housing, a number of conductors extending from the housing, and a cover member to cover the conductors. The alignment plate accurately positions the conductors despite variations in housing dimension due to manufacturing tolerances. The housing includes walls supported on both sides when forming part of the module stack. The walls resist deflection of the conductors during installation of the alignment plate and electrical body. Each cover member engages and is held closed by a conductor extending from the housing.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a system and a connecting apparatus, by means of which communication is simplified, in particular upon start-up, configuration and maintenance of the system, in the entire automation system.
Abstract: The invention concerns a heterogeneous automation system ( 10 ) including a first physical network ( 15, 17, 20 ) in which all connected devices can communicate on the basis of a first communication protocol and at least one second physical network ( 52, 58, 59; 54, 56, 57, 60 ) which is connected to the first network ( 15, 17, 20 ) by way of a first control device ( 25, 30 ) functioning as a gateway, and in which all devices ( 54, 56, 57, 60 ) connected thereto can communicate on the basis of a second communication protocol, wherein the first and second networks and the first and second communication protocols are different. The object of the present invention is to provide a system and a connecting apparatus, by means of which communication is simplified, in particular upon start-up, configuration and maintenance of the system, in the entire automation system. The invention attains that object in that each first control device ( 25; 30 ) has a logic interface for the substantially transparent communication between at least one device connected to the first network ( 17 ) and at least one device connected to the second network ( 52; 54 ), on the basis of the first communication protocol.

TL;DR: An electrical supply or connecting terminal with a clamping spring and a metal part is described in this paper, where the contact leg has a recess for insertion of the electrical conductor, and an end of the clamping leg extends through the recess.
Abstract: An electrical supply or connecting terminal with a clamping spring and a metal part, the clamping spring having a clamping leg and a contact leg, and the metal part having a conductor bar piece. The clamping leg and the conductor bar piece form a spring force clamp connection for the electrical conductor. The contact leg of the clamping spring has a recess for insertion of the electrical conductor, and an end of the clamping leg extends through the recess. The clamping spring has a retaining section which runs essentially parallel to the insertion direction of the electrical conductor and parallel to the conductor bar piece and the conductor bar piece has been inserted though the recess in a direction opposite the insertion direction of the electrical conductor, the conductor bar piece being clamped securely between the end of the clamping leg and the retaining section.

TL;DR: In this paper, a contact insert for a connecting terminal of a multiplicity of mutually isolated connection elements, designed in particular for printed circuit boards, with a spring force element being mounted symmetrically, with the simple mounting together with the advantageous connection to the contact insert, results in a closed terminal cage which makes it possible to reduce the physical height of the dielectric housing to a major
Abstract: A contact insert for a connecting terminal of a multiplicity of mutually isolated connection elements, designed in particular for printed circuit boards, with a spring force element being mounted symmetrically, with the spring force element designed with a simple section geometry and its simple mounting together with the advantageous connection to the contact insert, results in a closed terminal cage which makes it possible to reduce the physical height of the dielectric housing to a major The connecting terminal is used as a linking element in printed circuit board connection technology for providing a reliable supply to industrial electronics and economic individual wiring on printed circuits.

TL;DR: In this article, the Rogowski principle is used to provide a slotted current acquisition coil according to which the printed circuit board base of the measuring coil can be opened to insert an electrical conductor to be measured without having to interrupt the latter.
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide a slotted current acquisition coil according to the Rogowski principle in which the printed circuit board base of the measuring coil can be opened to insert an electrical conductor to be measured without having to interrupt the latter. To this end, the two printed circuit board segments linked together by a hinge are opened. Twisting a single-piece printed circuit board also opens the arrangement for inserting the conductor to be measured.
