TL;DR: In this paper, the ISO 7-layer model is implemented in the connection devices, which all operate mutually independently, and a coupler has at least two devices (8,8') of a first type for connection to a redundant bus section, a second type (9) of device for connection with a non-redundant bus section and a control unit for connecting the redundant and non-REDUCE bus sections.
Abstract: The system has redundant bus sections (3) in the form of bus lines divided into at least two, at least one master control unit (1a,1b) with connection components (2a,2b) for controlling the bus system and at least one system coupler (5) for connecting a redundant (3) and a non-redundant (4) bus section. A system coupler has at least two devices (8,8') of a first type for connection to a redundant bus section, a second type (9) of device for connection to a non-redundant bus section and a control unit for connecting the redundant and non-redundant bus sections. Layers one and two of the ISO 7-layer model are implemented in the connection devices, which all operate mutually independently.

TL;DR: In this article, a means for producing an auxiliary short circuit in the three-phase network by ignition of the means, identifying a short circuit at the threephase load, and generating an ignition pulse upon identification of the short circuit is presented.
Abstract: An apparatus for short-circuit protection of a three-phase load in a three-phase system includes an input for connection of the apparatus to a three-phase network, an output for connection of the three-phase load to the apparatus, a means for producing an auxiliary short circuit in the three-phase network by ignition of the means, a means for identifying a short circuit at the three-phase load, and a means for generating an ignition pulse upon identification of the short circuit. The means for producing the auxiliary short circuit and the means for identifying the short circuit are provided in the current path between the input and the output. The means for producing the auxiliary short circuit is ignitable by the ignition pulse. The means for generating the ignition pulse is formed so that the ignition pulse can be generated by a short-circuit current established by the means for identifying the short circuit.

TL;DR: In this paper, a strain relief arrangement was designed to clamp the cable on the outside of the connector housing of an RJ45 connector, where the cables can pivot in the direction of the second clamping element.
Abstract: The invention relates to an RJ45 connector (1) comprising a connector housing (2), which has an insertion opening (5) for inserting a cable (6), and a strain relief arrangement (10), which is designed to clamp the cable (6) on the outside of the connector housing (2), wherein said strain relief arrangement (10) comprises a first and a second clamping element (11, 12), which are arranged on the connector housing (2) on sides of the insertion opening (5) that are opposite one another in the circumferential direction, wherein the first clamping element (11) is held on the connector housing (2) such that it can pivot in the direction of the second clamping element (12), wherein the first clamping element (11) has an arc shape on the side thereof facing the second clamping element (12), and the strain relief means (10) has fixing means (16, 17) with which the first clamping element (11) can be fixed in a plurality of pivot positions relative to the second clamping element (12).

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a method for transmission of safety-related data for controlling an automation system and executing a transmission of data between subscribers of a communication system, which involves transmitting a data message from a subscriber to a subscriber over a data transmitting protocol, and examining the data message by an evaluating unit arranged in the subscriber (22).
Abstract: The method involves transmitting a data message from a subscriber (21) to a subscriber (22) over a data transmitting protocol, and examining the data message by an evaluating unit arranged in the subscriber (22). A reply message is transmitted from the subscriber (22) to the subscriber (21) depending on result of the examination of the data message. The reply message is tested by an evaluating unit arranged in the subscriber (21). An independent claim is also included for a system for transmission of safety-related data for controlling an automation system and executing a method for transmission of data between subscribers of a communication system.
