Reduced endogenous urinary total antioxidant power and its relation of plasma antioxidant activity of superoxide dismutase in individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
TL;DR: Stepwise regression analysis revealed that urinary TAP levels and plasma SOD levels can differences in the biomarkers and the SRS scores between the ASD group and the control group, suggesting the endogenous antioxidant capacity may be deficient without altered urinary HEL and 8‐OHdG levels in individuals with ASD.

Protective effect of magnolol on TBHP-induced injury in H460 cells partially via a p53 dependent mechanism.
TL;DR: Taking together, Magnolol was effective against DNA single strand breaks (SSB) formation, cytotoxicity and lipid peroxidation induced by TBHP, and its effects on p53 phosphorylation, PTEN and Aktosphorylation were due to its antioxidative function, and partiallyvia a p53 dependent mechanism in this protective effects.
