Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of jet activity produced in top-quark events with an electron, a muon and two b-tagged jets in the final state in pp collisions at √s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Morad Aaboud, +2837 more
TL;DR: While the kinematics of the jets from top-quark decays are described well, the generators show differing levels of agreement with the measurements of observables that depend on the production of additional jets.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for Higgs bosons decaying into new spin-0 or spin-1 particles in four-lepton final states with the ATLAS detector with 139 fb−1 of pp collision data at $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV

Georges Aad, +2843 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a search for new spin-0 or spin-1 bosons using events where a Higgs boson with mass 125 GeV decays into four leptons ( ℓ = e , μ ).
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for pairs of highly collimated photon-jets in pp collisions at s =13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Morad Aaboud, +2957 more
- 18 Jan 2019 -
TL;DR: In this article, the results of a search for the pair production of photon-jets in the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider are reported, and the results are interpreted in the context of a model containing a new, high-mass scalar particle with narrow width, X, that decays into pairs of photonjets via new, light particles, a upper limits are placed on the cross section times the product of branching ratios σ×B(X→aa)×B (a→γγ)2 for 200 GeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of hadronic event shapes in high-p T multijet final states at √{s } = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +3002 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a measurement of event-shape variables in proton-proton collisions at large momentum transfer is presented using data collected at s = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for dark matter produced in association with a single top quark in $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV $pp$ collisions with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2983 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for dark matter in the context of a two-Higgs-doublet model together with an additional pseudoscalar mediator, $a$, which decays into the dark-matter particles is presented.
