12 Aug 2006TL;DR: In this article, the motor has a hollow shaft with a shaft section having predetermined inner diameter and outer diameter, where the notches are provided at the outer circumference of the shaft section.
Abstract: The motor has a hollow shaft (20) with a shaft section having predetermined inner diameter and outer diameter. A set of notches runs in longitudinal direction of the hollow shaft, where the notches are provided at the outer circumference of the shaft section. The distance of a pair of adjacent notches is more or equal to the inner diameter and is less than the outer diameter, where one of the notches has a section that runs perpendicular to a plane running through the notches.

10 Jul 2012TL;DR: In this paper, an axial fan, having an inner electric motor and a fan wheel connected to the electric motor so as to rotate with it, has a plurality of wheel blades defining a blade length and extend outwardly from the electric motors.
Abstract: An axial fan, having an inner electric motor and a fan wheel connected to the electric motor so as to rotate with it and has a plurality of wheel blades defining a blade length and extend outwardly from the electric motor. A fan housing surrounds the fan wheel. The fan housing is connected to the motor via holding struts which extend to the outside from the motor to the fan housing. A motor housing is provided on the motor behind the fan wheel and accommodates a motor electronics system. A flow duct having an inflow opening and an outflow opening is fastened to the motor behind the fan wheel such that the inflow opening is arranged offset to the outside with respect to the outflow opening. The outflow opening is oriented in such a way that an air flow which exits the outlet opening is guided onto the motor housing.

10 Aug 2005TL;DR: In this article, a fluid pump with a pump impeller (90) connected to a first permanent magnet (92) is rotatedally mounted inside a liquid-tight pump casing provided in the form of a spacer can (80, 82).
Abstract: An arrangement for delivering fluids has a fluid pump with a pump impeller (90) connected to a first permanent magnet (92). The pump impeller (90) is rotationally mounted inside a liquid-tight pump casing (80, 82, 84, 86, 88). This casing is provided in the form of a spacer can (80, 82) in the area of the first permanent magnet (92). The arrangement also has an electronically commutated electric motor (20) with a stator (22) and with a rotor (26), which can rotate relative thereto and which has a second permanent magnet (67) that interacts with the first permanent magnet (92) in the manner of a magnetic coupling (94). A number of soft ferromagnetic magnetic flux conductors (150) are placed in the space located between the second permanent magnet (67) and the spacer can (80, 82). These conductors are situated at a distance from one another whereby depicting the magnetic field of the second permanent magnet (67) that is active at its end facing away from the spacer can (80, 82), which is assigned to the first permanent magnet (92).

03 Nov 2000TL;DR: In this article, a commutation arrangement comprises a bistable multivibrator whose switch condition is controlled through voltages which are induced from the rotor into a currently deactivated winding cord.
Abstract: The motor (4) comprises a stator with two winding cords (25, 26) which are supplied over respective semiconductor switch (56, 62) with current, and a permanent-magnetic rotor (28) which starts moving in a desired rotation direction at activation of a predetermined winding cord. A commutation arrangement comprises a bistable multivibrator (64), whose switch condition is controlled through voltages which are induced from the rotor into a currently deactivated winding cord. The bistable multivibrator has a reset condition (92) which it assumes when the motor is switched on, so that a power supply of a predetermined winding cord is caused at activation.
