20 Sep 2016TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a rooftop-mounted air-conditioning installation for a bus, where a heat exchanger and a radial fan are arranged in the air-flow duct between the air intake opening and the air discharge opening.
Abstract: The invention relates to a rooftop-mounted air-conditioning installation (1), in particular for the roof of a bus, at least having a condenser unit (2) and an evaporator unit (3) which has an air-flow duct (5) with at least one air intake opening (6, 7) and one air discharge opening (8), wherein a heat exchanger (9) and a radial fan (10) which generates an air flow are arranged in the air-flow duct (5) between the air intake opening (6, 7) and the air discharge opening (8), and an axis of rotation (11) of a fan wheel (12) of the radial fan (10) is oriented parallel to an air flow main direction (S) which extends through the air-flow duct (5) from the at least one air intake opening (6, 7) through the heat exchanger (9) to the radial fan (10).

04 Jul 2010TL;DR: A novel position and speed estimator for single phase permanent magnet brushless d.c. (PMBLDC) motor drives, based on flux integration and prior knowledge of ΨPM (θ) is proposed here and an adequate correction algorithm is adopted in order to increase the robustness to noise and to reduce the sensitivity to accuracy of flux linkage estimation.
Abstract: A novel position and speed estimator for single phase permanent magnet brushless d.c. (PMBLDC) motor drives, based on flux integration and prior knowledge of Ψ PM (θ) is proposed here and an adequate correction algorithm is adopted in order to increase the robustness to noise and to reduce the sensitivity to accuracy of flux linkage estimation. A speed and current close loop control is employed based on the Hall signal and the motor is controlled at different speeds in order to validate the proposed estimation algorithm with satisfying results. The position correction effect is analyzed by examination of improvements in both position error and speed pulsations.

01 Feb 2007TL;DR: In this paper, a motor with an output stage (122) and a measuring resistor (242) detecting measuring value for the current flowing into the stage is described. But the motor is not equipped with an overcurrent measuring unit.
Abstract: The motor has an output stage (122) and a measuring resistor (242) detecting measuring value for the current flowing into the stage. An over-current measuring unit (152) evaluates the valve and detects the current exceeding a given threshold value. A hold unit generates and stores an over current signal in the measuring resistor and conveys a corresponding signal to the stage to counteract the over-current. An independent claim is also included for a method of controlling an electronically commutated motor.

14 Nov 2001TL;DR: A stator for an external rotor motor has a stack of stator metal plates and stator coils in grooves on the stack to form stator end windings.
Abstract: of EP1154546A stator (1) for an external rotor motor has a stack (2) of stator metal plates and stator coils in grooves on the stack to form stator end windings. A rotor shaft (11) stretches through a centred shaft opening (10) that forms a tubular front insulating shaft (12) serving as seating (13) for a bearing (15) for the rotor shaft. The front insulating shaft insulates the stator coils against the stack of stator metal plates.
