International Linear Collider Reference Design Report Volume 2: PHYSICS AT THE ILC

TLDR
In this article, the physics case for the ILC was reviewed and the opportunities on Standard Model physics, Higgs physics, Supersymmetry and alternative theories beyond the Standard Model were described.
Abstract
This article reviews the physics case for the ILC. Baseline running at 500 GeV as well as possible upgrades and options are discussed. The opportunities on Standard Model physics, Higgs physics, Supersymmetry and alternative theories beyond the Standard Model are described.

The top quark and Higgs boson masses and the stability of the electroweak vacuum

TL;DR: In this paper, the top quark pole mass at the Tevatron has been determined to be 173.3 ± 2.7 GeV by using the total cross-section for top-quark pair production at the hadron colliders.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model reviewed

TL;DR: In this article, the Higgs potential is investigated in the approach of bilinear functions, with emphasis on aspects which are different from the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model.

Revisiting the Global Electroweak Fit of the Standard Model and Beyond with Gfitter

TL;DR: Gfitter as mentioned in this paper is a modular fitting toolkit, which features predictive theoretical models as independent plugins, and a statistical analysis of the fit results using toy Monte Carlo techniques, including the direct Higgs searches at LEP and Tevatron.

The International Linear Collider Technical Design Report - Volume 3.II: Accelerator Baseline Design

TL;DR: The International Linear Collider Technical Design Report (TDR) describes in four volumes the physics case and the design of a 500 GeV center-of-mass energy linear electron-positron collider based on superconducting radio-frequency technology using Niobium cavities as the accelerating structures.
Journal ArticleDOI

SIMP Spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the interactions between strongly interacting massive particle dark matter and the Standard Model via a massive vector boson that is kinetically mixed with the hypercharge gauge boson.

T-parity violation by anomalies

TL;DR: In this article, the Wess-Zumino-Witten term was used to show that the T-parity of the SU(3)xSU(3)/SU (3) scheme is broken by anomalies.

Dirac Neutrino Dark Matter

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the possibility that dark matter is made of heavy Dirac neutrinos with mass in the range [O(1) GeV- a few TeV] and with suppressed but non-zero coupling to the Standard Model Z as well as a coupling to an additional Z' gauge boson.
