Measurement of the t(t)over-bar production cross section in the tau plus jets channel using the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2883 more
TL;DR: In this article, a measurement of the top quark pair production cross section in the final state with a hadronically decaying tau lepton and jets is presented, based on proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, with a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of B0→ρ+ρ- decays and constraints on the CKM angle α

Bernard Aubert, +575 more
- 28 Sep 2007 -
TL;DR: In this paper, an analysis of B0→ρ+ρ- decays using (383.6±4.2)×106 BB pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B factory at SLAC is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for bottom squark pair production in proton–proton collisions at √s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Morad Aaboud, +2860 more
TL;DR: Exclusion limits at 95 % confidence level on the mass of the bottom squark are derived in phenomenological supersymmetric R-parity-conserving models in which the lightest squark b~1 is the lightmost squark and is assumed to decay exclusively via b-quarks.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for Higgs boson pair production in the γγWW∗ channel using pp collision data recorded at √s =13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Morad Aaboud, +2925 more
TL;DR: A search for a narrow-width resonance X decaying to a pair of Standard Model Higgs bosons HH is performed with the same set of data, and the observed upper limits onσ(pp→X)×B(X→HH) range between 40.0 and 6.1 pb for masses of the resonance between 260 and 500 GeV, while the expected limits range between 17.6 and 4.4 pb.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the Drell-Yan triple-differential cross section in pp collisions at √{s}=8 TeV

Morad Aaboud, +2957 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the triple-differential cross section for the Drell-Yan process was measured for invariant masses of the lepton pairs, m$_{ll}$, between 46 and 200 GeV using a sample of 20.2 fb$−1}$ of pp collisions data at a centre-of-mass energy of $ \sqrt{s}=8 $ TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC in 2012.
