Solubility and Mass and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopic Studies on Interaction of Cyclosporin A with Dimethyl‐α‐ and ‐β‐Cyclodextrins in Aqueous Solution

TL;DR: In this paper, the interaction of cyclosporin A (CsA) with dimethyl-alpha- and -beta-cyclodextrins (DM-α-Cyd and DM-beta-CyD) was investigated by the solubility method, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) and 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR).
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of some natural polymers on the solubility and dissolution characteristics of nifedipine

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of natural polymers such as water-soluble gelatin and egg albumin on the solubility and dissolution characteristics of nifedipine has been studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Stent coating by electrospinning with chitosan/poly-cyclodextrin based nanofibers loaded with simvastatin for restenosis prevention.

TL;DR: A stent covered by nanofibers (NFs) produced by electrospinning, loaded with simvastatin (SV), a drug commonly used for restenosis prevention is developed, whose efficiency will be investigated in a further in vivo study.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of antioxidant activity of caffeic acid with cyclodextrins using ground mixture method

TL;DR: Caffeic acid /β-cyclodextrin (molar ratio = 1/1), the aromatic ring of the caffeic acid molecule appears to be included from the wider to the narrower rim of the ring of βCD.
Journal ArticleDOI

Use of cyclodextrins as solubilizing agents for simvastatin: effect of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin on lactone/hydroxyacid aqueous equilibrium.

TL;DR: In this article, a reverse-phase HPLC method was used to identify and quantify simvastatin and SVA in the presence of cyclodextrins (CDs) and showed that the aqueous SVL/SVA equilibrium is shifted versus the hydroxyacid form.
