Solubility and thermodynamic parameters of apigenin in different neat solvents at different temperatures

TL;DR: In this paper, the solubility of apigenin in twelve different neat solvents including water, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol (IPA), propylene glycol (PG), 1-butanol, 2 butanol, ethyl acetate (EA), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), polyethylene glycol-400 (PEG-400) and Transcutol® was measured at temperatures ranging from298.2 to 318.2
Book ChapterDOI

Cyclodextrins as encapsulation material for flavors and aroma

TL;DR: In this paper, a wide range of analytical methods for flavors and aromas encapsulation with cyclodextrins (CDs) is presented. But the authors do not consider the use of CDs in food packaging.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of the Factors Affecting the Absorption of Vardenafil from Oral Disintegrating Tablets: A Clinical Pharmacokinetic Investigation.

TL;DR: The optimized VRD-ODTs exhibited increased oral absorption of VRD and subsequent decrease in the time of onset of clinical effect and masking the unpleasant taste, and the solubility was improved at 1:2 drug:β-CD ratio.
Journal ArticleDOI

A cyclodextrin polymer membrane-based passive sampler for measuring triclocarban, triclosan and methyl triclosan in rivers

TL;DR: A novel DGT sampler with cyclodextrin polymer membrane (CDPM) as the binding phase was developed for measuring the concentrations of triclosan, triclocarban and methyl tricrosan, and it was confirmed that there was no significant difference between the DGT-measured and the SPE-me measured concentrations for each compound.
