TL;DR: High-quality genome sequence of cultivated peanut provides insights into genome evolution and the genetic mechanisms underlying seed size and leaf resistance in peanut, providing a cornerstone for functional genomics and peanut improvement.
Abstract: High oil and protein content make tetraploid peanut a leading oil and food legume. Here we report a high-quality peanut genome sequence, comprising 2.54 Gb with 20 pseudomolecules and 83,709 protein-coding gene models. We characterize gene functional groups implicated in seed size evolution, seed oil content, disease resistance and symbiotic nitrogen fixation. The peanut B subgenome has more genes and general expression dominance, temporally associated with long-terminal-repeat expansion in the A subgenome that also raises questions about the A-genome progenitor. The polyploid genome provided insights into the evolution of Arachis hypogaea and other legume chromosomes. Resequencing of 52 accessions suggests that independent domestications formed peanut ecotypes. Whereas 0.42–0.47 million years ago (Ma) polyploidy constrained genetic variation, the peanut genome sequence aids mapping and candidate-gene discovery for traits such as seed size and color, foliar disease resistance and others, also providing a cornerstone for functional genomics and peanut improvement.

TL;DR: Combined data from HPV-DNA and p16(INK4a) testing are likely to represent a closer estimate of the real fraction of IVC induced by HPV, indicating that HPV contribution in invasive vulvar cancer has probably been overestimated.

TL;DR: The study demonstrated that e‐service quality and customer perceived value influence customer satisfaction, and then influence customer loyalty, and found that customers with a high perceived value have a stronger relationship between satisfaction and customer loyalty than customers withA low perceived value.
Abstract: Purpose – The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of e‐service quality, customer perceived value, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in an online shopping environment.Design/methodology/approach – There were two studies performed in this research. Study 1 validated the self‐regulating processes; Study 2 tested the moderating effects of customer perceived value between satisfaction and loyalty. Structural equation modelling techniques and linear hierarchical regression models were used to test the causal model.Findings – The study demonstrated that e‐service quality and customer perceived value influence customer satisfaction, and then influence customer loyalty. In addition this study found that customers with a high perceived value have a stronger relationship between satisfaction and customer loyalty than customers with a low perceived value.Research limitations/implications – We found that there are emotional and rational routes influencing customer loyalty in the online shoppi...

TL;DR: Using a time series of landslide maps and suspended sediment transport data, this paper showed that the MW7.6 Chi-Chi earthquake in Taiwan was followed by a period of enhanced mass wasting and fluvial sediment evacuation, peaking at more than five times the background rate and returning progressively to pre-earthquake levels in about six years.
