TL;DR: In this paper, a method for metering of powder material from a powder material source (2) by a metering device (1) connected to the source, comprising the steps of charging the device from said source with a batch of powder materials in a charging configuration of the device and discharging said batch of powders from the device in a discharging configuration, is presented.
Abstract: A method for metering of powder material from a powder material source (2) by a metering device (1) connected to the powder material source, comprising the steps of charging the device from said source with a batch of powder material in a charging configuration of the device and discharging said batch of powder material from the device in a discharging configuration of the device. The method is especially characterized in the further steps of - connecting the powder material source with a metering piston space in the charging configuration via a first channel of a fixed metering channel hub and controlling the volume of said space between a metering piston and a hub peripheral surface by controlling the piston position in said space, thereby charging the volume with powder material by gravity; - turning the metering space around the metering channel hub and thereby leaving the charging configuration and enclosing said volume filled with powder material until reaching the discharging configuration and - connecting the metering piston space with a discharge opening via a second channel of the metering channel hub for discharging the powder material contained in the enclosed volume, preferably by gravity. The invention also relates to a device and a system.

TL;DR: In this paper, a radio communication system consisting of a system computer and an audio management system is described, where the system computer switches between a data communication service and a voice communication service upon receiving a signal from the radio communication device indicating that a carrier on a predetermined fixed frequency has been detected or has ceased to be detected by said radio communication devices.
Abstract: A radio communication system (1) comprising a system computer (3) connected to a radio communication device (2) provided with a radio communication antenna (11) and an audio management system (4) via a data bus (7), the audio management system (4) being connected to a user communication device (5). The system computer (3) is arranged to switch between a data communication service and a voice communication service upon receiving a signal from the radio communication device (2) indicating that a carrier on a predetermined fixed frequency has been detected or has ceased to be detected by said radio communication device (2), or from the audio management system (4) indicating that a request for a predetermined fixed frequency voice communication service has been detected or has ceased to be detected by said audio management system (4).

TL;DR: This paper evaluates two massively parallel architectures, namely, Ambric and Epiphany, by implementing a significantly large case study of autofocus criterion calculation, which is a key component in future synthetic aperture radar systems.
Abstract: The next generation radar systems have high performance demands on the signal processing chain. Among these are advanced image creating sensor systems in which complex calculations are to be performed on huge sets of data in realtime. Massively Parallel Processor Arrays (MPPAs) are gaining attention to cope with the computational requirements of complex radar signal processing by exploiting the massive parallelism inherent in the algorithms in an energy efficient manner. In this paper, we evaluate two such massively parallel architectures, namely, Ambric and Epiphany, by implementing a significantly large case study of autofocus criterion calculation, which is a key component in future synthetic aperture radar systems. The implementation results from the two case studies are compared on the basis of achieved performance, energy efficiency, and programmability.

TL;DR: An antenna structure integrated in a hull or fuselage (501, 702, 1101, 1401, 1601, 1701) is provided in this article, where a number of the antenna radiators as well as resistive sheets (605, 707-712, 1306, 1307, 1402, 1403, 1602, 1703) are arranged in substantially the same plane as a surrounding outer surface of the hull.
Abstract: An antenna structure integrated in a hull or fuselage (501, 702, 1101, 1401, 1601, 1701) is provided. The hull or fuselage can be the outer surface of an aircraft, artillery shell, missile or ship. The antenna structure comprises an array antenna (503, 601, 701, 1200, 1300), the array antenna comprising a number of antenna elements, each antenna element comprising a radiator (505, 606, 703, 1105, 1111, 1202, 1302, 1404, 1501, 1603, 1702), and an RF-feed, the antenna elements being arranged in a lattice (1503-1506) within an antenna area (1103) comprising a central antenna area (1112) and a transition region (1109) outside the central antenna area (1112) wherein a number of the antenna radiators as well as resistive sheets (605, 707-712, 1306, 1307, 1402, 1403, 1602, 1703) are arranged in substantially the same plane as a surrounding outer surface of the hull or fuselage (501, 702, 1101, 1401, 1601, 1701).

TL;DR: In this article, a method for manufacturing a stiffening element consisting of at least a first stiffening profile and at least two stiffening profiles was proposed. But the method was not suitable for the case of reinforced structures.
Abstract: A stiffening element 11 comprising at least a first stiffening profile 1and at least a second stiffening profile 2. The first stiffening profile 1 comprises a profile member 4, at least one structural flange 8 is connected to the profile member 4, a through-passage 9 extending through the profile member 4,and at least one support flange 10 is connected to the profile member 4.The second stiffening profile 2 comprises a bottom portion 12 and at least one support side portion 13 connected to the bottom portion 12. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a stiffening element 11 and a method for manufacturing a reinforced structure 15, wherein the reinforced structure 15 comprises at least one structural element 14 and at least one stiffening element 11.
