Abstract: The goal of the Core Technical Framework study is to enable a framework that promotes secure, multinational distributed simulations. The main domains targeted are Training, Simulation Based Acquisition (SBA) a Concept Development and Experimentation (CD&E). The framework benefits from, and can be easily integrated with, Enterprise Architecture Frameworks descriptions compliant to NAF and MoDAF. The approach selected is to support heterogeneous simulation architectures, Live-Virtual-Constructive simulations, transformation of simulation assets to simulation capabilities in a net centric environment and to enable automation of exercise management. The study focus on the whole process from Exercise Planning to After Action Review (AAR). This paper will give an overview of the Technical Framework study and present the needs and requirements identified

TL;DR: In this article, a single antenna system consisting of a single element having first ( 111 ) and second ( 112 ) antenna ports arranged to pass a respective first and second antenna signal is described.
Abstract: An antenna system ( 100 ) comprising a single antenna element having first ( 111 ) and second ( 112 ) antenna ports arranged to pass a respective first and second antenna signal. The first and second antenna signals being derived from a first common antenna signal (J 1 ) and arranged to be essentially equal in envelope. An antenna pattern of the system being arranged to be selectable between a first antenna pattern having a first polarization and a second antenna pattern having a second polarization substantially orthogonal to the first polarization. The first antenna pattern being selected by setting the first and second antenna signal to have the same polarity on first ( 111 ) and second ( 112 ) antenna ports, the second antenna pattern being selected by setting the first and second antenna signal to have substantially opposite polarities on first ( 111 ) and second ( 112 ) antenna ports.

TL;DR: In this article, a C-band active array antenna board has been designed, built and tested, and a printed circuit board with active receiving circuits and antenna feed is mounted on an aluminum plate including the antenna elements.
Abstract: A concept of building a low cost integrated AESA has been investigated. A C-band active array antenna board has been designed, built and tested. A printed circuit board with active receiving circuits and antenna feed is mounted on an aluminum plate including the antenna elements. Measurements of the C-board antenna agree well with the simulated results. A bandwidth of about 20% with a return loss better than −10 dB when scanned to 45°, a gain of 18 dBi and a side lobe level of 18 dB was obtained.

TL;DR: A sluice device suitable for a remotely cable operated vehicle is described in this article, which includes a system for enabling launching, operating, and retrieving of the remotely cable-operated vehicle.
Abstract: A sluice device suitable for a remotely cable operated vehicle. A water tight compartment has a first and a second sluice gate. The sluice device includes a system for enabling launching, operating, and retrieving of the remotely cable operated vehicle. An insert for converting an existing torpedo tube to a sluice device, and a torpedo shaped transport container for an insert.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for reducing electromagnetic interference radiated from a power supply arrangement comprising a plurality of switching mode power supply units (1, 2) connected to an external device (3), where each switchingmode power supply unit comprises a ground point (A, B), was proposed.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for reducing electromagnetic interference radiated from a power supply arrangement comprising a plurality of switching mode power supply units (1, 2) connected to an external device (3), wherein each switching mode power supply unit (1, 2)comprises a ground point (A, B). The radiate electromagnetic interference is reduced by synchronizing a switching frequency of each switching mode power supply unit (1, 2), such that all of said synchronized switching mode power supply units (1, 2) have an identical switching frequency, thereby reducing the difference in electric potential between said ground points (A, B). The present invention also relates to a corresponding power supply arrangement.
