TL;DR: It is argued that results obtained by repeated administration the MMPI-168(L) can reveal information concerning changes in mental health status for many individuals with mental retardation.
Abstract: Recently it has been shown that oral administration of the MMPI-168(L), with simplified explanations of the items provided when needed, can reveal information related to personality and psychopathology in many individuals with mental retardation. The results of repeated administrations of the inventory to 7 clients residing in an institutional setting over a period exceeding 3 years in some cases are presented here. It is argued that results obtained by repeated administration the MMPI-168(L) can reveal information concerning changes in mental health status for many individuals with mental retardation.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe an adaptation of the rent-seeking game by Goeree and Holt (1999) to the recruiting of athletes by NCAA Division I football and basketball teams.
Abstract: The authors of this article describe an adaptation of the rent-seeking game by Goeree and Holt (1999) to the recruiting of athletes by NCAA Division I football and basketball teams. Students engage in an effort-based lottery, i.e., recruiting to sign a blue-chip prospect. The winner gets the prize—the player's marginal revenue product in excess of his grant in aid. Students recruit in three scenarios: by recruiting legally, by recruiting legally or with illegal bribes, and by offering wages to athletes in an auction. The authors demonstrate the game's use in a principles course, but it is easily adaptable to other courses. To aid instructors unfamiliar with sports and NCAA recruiting, they include a comprehensive lesson plan with suggested readings and multimedia.

TL;DR: This paper used a double-selection post-Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator approach to evaluate the role of legislator and median voter characteristics on Vermont General Assembly voting outcomes on Act 152, which essentially bans fracking in the state.
Abstract: In 2012, Vermont became the first state in the US to ban hydraulic fracturing for natural gas and oil production despite having zero known natural gas reserves. We evaluate the role of legislator and median voter characteristics on Vermont General Assembly voting outcomes on Act 152, which essentially bans fracking in the state. Using a double-selection post-Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator approach, we find evidence that campaign donations and being a member of the Democratic Party are positively related to voting to ban fracking. Median voter characteristics appear not to play an essential role in shaping legislator voting behaviour, corroborating the theory of expressive voting on the decision to ban fracking in Vermont.
