TL;DR: The results reconcile uncertainties about age-related trajectories of cortical thickness; the centile values provide estimates of normative variance in cortical thickness, and may assist in detecting abnormal deviations in cortical Thickness, and associated behavioural, cognitive and clinical outcomes.

TL;DR: Images obtained with (18 )F-DG and H(2)(15)O in human brains and in a baboon brain demonstrate that the ECAT 953B/31 will be suitable for high resolution and for low count rate brain studies.

TL;DR: It is shown that altered brain glucose metabolism is triplet repeat dependent, and in DM patients, the brain metabolism of glucose is impaired in a repeat dependent manner.

Regional cerebral L-[14C-methyl]methionine incorporation into proteins: evidence for methionine recycling in the rat brain.
TL;DR: The results indicate that the regional rates of protein synthesis measured with l-[11C-methyl]methionine using positron emission tomography would be underestimated, since the local fraction of brain methionine derived from protein degradation would not be considered.
