Evidence for light-by-light scattering and searches for axion-like particles in ultraperipheral PbPb collisions at sNN=5.02TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2325 more
- 10 Oct 2019 -
TL;DR: In this article, the light-by-light scattering process in ultra-peripheral PbPb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of 5.02 TeV is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Calibration of the LIGO gravitational wave detectors in the fifth science run

J. Abadie, +554 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the calibration of the instruments in the S5 data set, including measurement techniques and uncertainty estimation, for the LIGO data set of the fifth science run (S5).
Journal ArticleDOI

VEGF as a marker for outcome among advanced breast cancer patients receiving anti-VEGF therapy with bevacizumab and vinorelbine chemotherapy.

TL;DR: Plasma VEGF warrants further evaluation as a prognostic marker for treatment outcome in advanced breast cancer patients receiving anti-VEGF therapy and is well tolerated and effective as treatment for refractory breast cancer.
