Differential effects of spinal cord gray and white matter on process outgrowth from grafted human NTERA2 neurons (NT2N, hNT).
TL;DR: Assessment of the morphologic and molecular phenotype of purified NTera2N (NT2N, hNT) neurons implanted into the spinal cord of athymic nude mice suggests that NT2N neurons integrate similarly into spinal cord gray matter and white matter, but they extend processes that respond differentially togray matter andwhite matter cues.

TL;DR: The neurobiological substrates for dementia in late-life schizophrenia remain uncertain and standard diagnostic procedures with community-based and institutionalized schizophrenia patients as well as psychiatric control patients with similar treatment histories should apply sensitive neuropathological methods to assess disease-specific and nonspecific markers.
