State of the Climate in 2013

Jessica Blunden, +448 more
TL;DR: The State of the Climate for 2013 as discussed by the authors is a very low-resolution file and it can be downloaded in a few minutes for a high-resolution version of the report to download.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solar Backscatter UV (SBUV) total ozone and profile algorithm

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the algorithm that has been applied to develop a 42-year record of total ozone and ozone profiles from eight Solar Backscatter UV (SBUV) instruments launched on NASA and NOAA satellites since April 1970.
Journal ArticleDOI

State of the climate in 2017

R. Abernethy, +521 more
TL;DR: In 2017, the dominant greenhouse gases released into Earth's atmosphere-carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide-reached new record highs. as mentioned in this paper The annual global average carbon dioxide concentration at Earth's surface for 2017 was 405.0 ± 0.1 ppm, 2.2 ppm greater than for 2016 and the highest in the modern atmospheric measurement record and in ice core records dating back as far as 800 000 years.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent changes in total column ozone based on the SBUV Version 8.6 Merged Ozone Data Set

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe the latest version of the MOD data set based on SBUV data processed using the Version 8.6 algorithm and assess the measurement consistency across instruments and use this information to assign a drift uncertainty to the MOD.
