Effect of severe plastic deformation on hot cracking of wrought aluminium alloy in pulsed laser welding

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of friction stir processing (FSP) on the behavior of wrought alloy 2024 in pulsed laser welding was examined. And the results showed that FSP changes the microstructure and that significantly affects the susceptibility of the base metal to liquation cracking.

Using deep neural network with small dataset to predict material defects
