Rapid Decay of Anti–SARS-CoV-2 Antibodies in Persons with Mild Covid-19

TL;DR: Covid-19 Antibodies after Mild Infection Among 34 volunteers who had recovered from mild Covid- 19 illness, antiviral antibodies to the receptor-binding domain of the viral spike protein declined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Primary, Recall, and Decay Kinetics of SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine Antibody Responses.

TL;DR: In this paper, a longitudinal assessment of vaccinees with and without prior SARS-CoV-2 infection using quantitative enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) of anti-RBD antibodies was conducted.
Journal ArticleDOI

Proceedings of the Frontiers of Retrovirology Conference 2016

Irena Zurnic, +659 more
- 26 Sep 2016 -
TL;DR: The present work has presented a novel single-cell analysis pipeline to identify specific biomarkers of HIV permissiveness and the importance of the tax-inducible actin-bundling protein fascin for transmission of human T cell leukemia virus Type 1 (HTLV-1).
Journal ArticleDOI

HIV-1 epitopes presented by MHC class I types associated with superior immune containment of viremia have highly constrained fitness landscapes.

TL;DR: Overall, these findings indicate that these protective MHC-I types yield CTL targeting of highly constrained epitopes, and underscore the importance of blocking public escape pathways for CTL-based interventions against HIV-1.
