01 Jan 2022TL;DR: A supervised structure of Feed-Forward Neural Network is proposed for predicting PM10 concentration in Jaipur city using the recently proposed algorithm based on the intelligent behavior of crow named as Intelligent Crow Search Algorithm (ICSA).
Abstract: Pollution forecast is a pioneering task and considered as a preliminary action taken by city planners as it can exactly locate the location of industrial plants and other development centers. Along with that on the basis of pollution profile, major decisions can be taken for controlling and combating it. Keeping this fact in mind, we propose a supervised structure of Feed-Forward Neural Network for predicting PM10 concentration in Jaipur city. For training the net, we employ our recently proposed algorithm based on the intelligent behavior of crow named as Intelligent Crow Search Algorithm (ICSA). It is observed that the developed ICSA yields better results when tested on the unknown samples. Comparative analysis of ICSA-based networks has been carried out with other contemporary nature-inspired algorithm tuned networks.

01 Oct 2018TL;DR: The Fractional Order-PID controller has been tuned by Grey Wolf Optimization for speed control of DC motor and the integral of time multiplied absolute error (ITAE) has been taken as an objective function.
Abstract: The Fractional Order-PID controller (FOPID) has been tuned by Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) for speed control of DC motor. The integral of time multiplied absolute error (ITAE) has been taken as an objective function. The robustness analysis has also been shown with parameter’s variations for the system under test. The simulation results show far better performance of FOPID tuned by GWO.

01 Jul 2020TL;DR: An outline of investigation into web based life bits of rumours with a definitive objective of building up talk order framework that comprises of four parts: rumour detection, rumour tracking, rumours stance classification, and rumour veracity classification is given.
Abstract: Now a days, social media like Twitter has become a vital source of information so that people can get aware of the information. To spread something important news which will be very useful for people, social media plays a big role. There are some people who spread information just for fun or having their own motive that information can create havoc, that type of news is called fake news. Due to growth in use of social media, fake news can cause serious problems in society. So, many researchers are now getting involved in extracting useful information and removing fake news. We give an outline of investigation into web based life bits of rumours with a definitive objective of building up talk order framework that comprises of four parts: rumour detection, rumour tracking, rumour stance classification, and rumour veracity classification. We dig into the methodologies introduced in the logical writing for the advancement of every one of these four parts.

01 Jan 2021TL;DR: An attempt has been made to present an improved handoff (Imp-Handoff) algorithm as an efficient fault-tolerant technique over the traditional handoff algorithm.
Abstract: The fault tolerance in wireless sensor networks (WSN) has become the foremost task as the sensor networks are involved in every aspect of human life. The Fault Tolerance supports energy efficiency, and energy efficiency is directly related to network lifetime, which is a prominent parameter in sensor networks. In this paper, an attempt has been made to present an improved handoff (Imp-Handoff) algorithm as an efficient fault-tolerant technique over the traditional handoff algorithm. At the first stage of the proposed work, a minimum spanning tree (MST) had been generated using the traditional PRIMS algorithm and various Swarm Intelligence approaches, viz. the Ant Colony Algorithm (ACO), Particle Swarm Algorithm (PSO), Firefly Algorithm (FF), and Imperialistic Competitive Algorithm (ICA). Then, data transmission had been performed on these spanning trees using the handoff and the proposed Imp-handoff algorithm. A comparative analysis of the said algorithms is presented in the result analysis section on some critical parameters, i.e., throughput, end-to-end delay, and energy dissipation.

01 Oct 2019TL;DR: This research paper proposes a system to enhance quality of supply voltage from standalone PV system using simulation of photovoltaic array with inverter pulse generation topology using space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM).
Abstract: This research paper proposes a system to enhance quality of supply voltage from standalone PV system using simulation of photovoltaic array with inverter pulse generation topology using space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM). Major focus of modulation technique is to get less voltage harmonic distortion, which is a performance index of best power quality. A perturb and observe MPPT technique is incorporated for maximizing output power of PV panel. Inverter is utilized in our framework accepting force supply from photovoltaic and switches of inverter are constrained by SVPWM method. Three closest vectors can be chosen effectively, exchanging arrangement and time determination using utilizing vector position in (SVPWM) technique. The simulation results show effectiveness of SVPWM based inverter. Supply quality indices voltage harmonic distortion factor (THD v ) is obtained as IEEE (519-1992) standard. Suggested system is implemented under MATLAB (2016(b)) simulation platform.
