01 Jul 2016TL;DR: Swarm intelligence based PID controller tuning is proposed for a nonlinear ball and hoop system and it is found that these swarm intelligence techniques have easy implementation & lesser settling & rise time compare to conventional methods.
Abstract: In this paper swarm intelligence based PID controller tuning is proposed for a nonlinear ball and hoop system. Particle swarm optimization (PSO), Artificial bee colony (ABC), Bacterial foraging optimization (BFO) is some example of swarm intelligence techniques which are focused for PID controller tuning. These algorithms are also tested on perturbed ball and hoop model. Integral square error (ISE) based performance index is used for finding the best possible value of controller parameters. Matlab software is used for designing the ball and hoop model. It is found that these swarm intelligence techniques have easy implementation & lesser settling & rise time compare to conventional methods.

01 Jan 2017TL;DR: An effort to modify Spider Monkey Optimization Algorithm with higher exploitation capabilities is presented and a new acceleration coefficient based strategy is proposed in the basic version of SMO.
Abstract: Spider Monkey Optimization (SMO) is a recent optimization method, which has drawn interest of researchers in different areas because of its simplicity and efficiency. This paper presents an effort to modify Spider Monkey Optimization Algorithm with higher exploitation capabilities. A new acceleration coefficient based strategy is proposed in the basic version of SMO. The proposed algorithm is named as Fast Convergent Spider Monkey Optimization Algorithm (FCSMO). FCSMO is tested over 14 benchmark test functions and compared with basic SMO. The result reveals that FCSMO will surely become a good variant of SMO.

28 May 2015TL;DR: To improve the weak points of conventional echo hiding and overcome the problem of less security, an audio watermarking technique based on pseudo-random gray sequences as a confidential key is proposed to satisfy both imperceptibility and robustness.
Abstract: Digital multimedia technology has shown a significant progress day to day in various fields such as entertainment, computer vision, security etc. hence, the distribution and use of multimedia data is much easier and faster. In such an open environment, it is convenient to get the access to various information sources. In present time, several issues are arising such as information security, information authentication, ownership or copyright protection with multimedia contents. Therefore, watermarking is breakthrough technique for resolving these issues for digital multimedia content like image, audio and video. In this paper, to improve the weak points of conventional echo hiding and overcome the problem of less security, we propose an audio watermarking technique based on pseudo-random gray sequences as a confidential key. To satisfy and maximize both imperceptibility and robustness, proposed audio watermarking algorithm based on pseudo-random gray sequences embed multi bits by spreading echo in time domain. The imperceptibility and the robustness of proposed audio watermarking are tested using various attacks and by listening test.

TL;DR: In this article, the Kober fractional calculus was applied to analytical functions with a differintegral operator in the open disk and the results of coefficient inequality and distortion theorems were examined.
Abstract: Through applying the Kober fractional - calculus apprehension, we preliminary implant and introduce new types of univalent analytical functions with a - differintegral operator in the open disk . The coefficient inequality and distortion theorems are among the results examined with these forms of functions. Specific cases are responded and addressed immediately. The findings include an expansion of the numerous established results in the - theory of analytical functions.
