TL;DR: A review on the key contributions of the state-of-art NIAs to solve the TNEP problem is presented and theTNEP system specific significant works presented in the literature are summarised for easy understanding of the readers.
Abstract: Transmission network expansion planning (TNEP) problem has been continuously solved for many years still the cost effective, reliable, and optimise solution is always desirable. The TNEP has been solved by various conventional and non conventional strategies. The strategy to find the solution of TNEP by classical mathematical optimisation techniques is tedious, slow and inefficient. In recent years, nature inspired algorithms (NIAs) have proven their importance to provide the solutions of the TNEP problem over classical mathematical optimisation techniques. This paper presents a review on the key contributions of the state-of-art NIAs to solve the TNEP problem. Further, the TNEP system specific significant works presented in the literature are summarised for easy understanding of the readers. The readers can get a brief description of the considered NIAs algorithms which has been applied to solve various systems of TNEP problem and they can also identify the significant NIA which is being applied for specific TNEP system.

TL;DR: In this paper, a new transformation formula (1 x) 2a 3F2 2 6 a; a + 1 2 ; d + 1 ; x 2 (1x)2 c + 3 ; d 3 7 valid forjxj 0, where A = p 16d 2 16cd 8d + 1.
Abstract: The aim of this research note is to prove the following new transformation formula (1 x) 2a 3F2 2 6 a; a + 1 2 ; d + 1 ; x 2 (1 x)2 c + 3 ; d 3 7 valid forjxj 0, where A = p 16d 2 16cd 8d + 1. For d = c + 1 , we get quadratic transformations due to Kummer. The result is derived with the help of the generalized Gauss's summation theorem available in the literature. TL;DR: The implementation results of proposed architecture are compared with the conventional booth and array multiplier-based architectures, which shows that the proposed scheme provides improved delay, low hardware (LUTs) and low complexity.
Abstract: The critical process in modern digital signal processing systems is complex multiplication. The speed and complexity of overall system depend upon complex multipliers. In this paper, a multi-operand carry-save adder (CSA)-based Vedic multiplier for complex multiplication is proposed. The proposed Vedic multiplier is based on Urdhva Tiryakbhyam Sutra of Vedic mathematics. For the improvement in the performance of the proposed Vedic multiplier architecture, CSA and Binary to Excess-1 code converters are used. Proposed \(32 \times 32\) bit Vedic multiplier, \(64 \times 64\) bit Vedic multiplier and complex multiplier architectures are implemented using VHDL in Xilinx ISE 14.2 navigator in VHDL. The implementation results of proposed architecture are compared with the conventional booth and array multiplier-based architectures, which shows that the proposed scheme provides improved delay, low hardware (LUTs) and low complexity. Due to higher bit multiplication rate and low power dissipation, the proposed architecture is useful for modern wireless communication applications.

TL;DR: The content dimension is reviewed by studying Information quality of news on social media by presenting a dimension and levels to IQ and showing that based on user responses to the news article, an IQ index is provided to measure the credibility of content.
Abstract: Information on social media platform suffers from lack of monitoring. So the evaluation of information credibility on the social media platform is an important subject. Specifically, social media have become popular for news consumption. News in its purest form, unbiased and trustworthiness is a big challenge. Through social media the information spread at such a fast rate, that false information perceives potential to cause real-world impacts on millions of users within a minute. Despite its importance, research has not taken its upliftment to mitigate the factors influencing information quality. In this paper, we will review the content dimension by studying Information quality of news on social media. We discuss this problem by presenting a dimension and levels to IQ. We test and validate the proposed model by computing IQI through distribution. The results show that based on user responses we can provide an IQ index to the news article. Providing a scale to measure the credibility of content. The prediction that a particular news article to what extent it is trustworthy based on the analysis of user responses to the dimension of IQ can be an important step to fight against digital misinformation.

TL;DR: In this paper, swarm intelligence-motivated artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm is modified with physics's phenomena and the proposed algorithm is named as disrupted black hole ABC (DBHABC) algorithm, which is applied for optimising induction motor parameter estimation.
Abstract: The most widespread motors in industries are induction motors nowadays. The design, performance evaluation and control of induction motors are based on circuit parameters. The accurate measurement of electrical parameters, like resistance (or reactance), is a tedious job. So, researchers have found induction motor parameter estimation as a significant optimisation aspect. Though conventional techniques produce good results, the swarm intelligence-motivated techniques produce still better results for real-world optimisation problems nowadays. In this paper, swarm intelligence-motivated artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm is modified with physics's phenomena. The proposed algorithm is named as disrupted black hole ABC (DBHABC) algorithm. Further, this proposed algorithm is applied for optimising induction motor parameter estimation. The obtained outcomes reveal that DBHABC may be a good choice for induction motor parameter estimation.
