Journal ArticleDOI

Mapping quantitative effects of oligogenes by allelic association.

TL;DR: Stronger evidence for the 3′ region was obtained, with significant evidence of a lesser 5′ effect as reported in French and Nigerian families, and both Malecot and parametric analysis appear to have high power by comparison with alternative methods for localizing oligogenes and their causal polymorphisms.
Posted ContentDOI

Genetic analysis of over one million people identifies 535 novel loci for blood pressure

Evangelos Evangelou, +315 more
- 11 Oct 2017 -
TL;DR: This work identifies 535 novel blood pressure loci that not only offer new biological insights into blood pressure regulation but also reveal shared loci influencing lifestyle exposures that offer the potential for a precision medicine strategy for future cardiovascular disease prevention.
DatasetDOI

Supplementary Material 3

Joshua C. Randall, +263 more
TL;DR: In this article, the sum of cells within 5° latitudinal bins for all model classes, binary thresholds and climate scenarios was calculated. But the number of cells in each bin was not included.
Journal ArticleDOI

Whole genome sequence analysis of platelet traits in the NHLBI trans-omics for precision medicine initiative

Amarise Little, +67 more
TL;DR: This article used whole-genome sequencing from NHLBI's Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine Initiative (TOPMed) in a large multi-ethnic sample to further explore common and rare variation contributing to PLT and MPV.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Type 2 Diabetes Knowledge Portal: An open access genetic resource dedicated to type 2 diabetes and related traits.

Maria C. Costanzo, +143 more
- 01 Mar 2023 -
TL;DR: The Type 2 Diabetes Knowledge Portal (T2DKP) as discussed by the authors is a public resource of genetic datasets and genomic annotations dedicated to type 2 diabetes and related traits, which can be used for access to complex disease genetic results.
