Luta pelas lutas como prática pedagógica crítica na educação física escolar

Abstract: This experience focuses on “fights”, with 29 children from the 4th year of elementary school, in the last academic quarter of 2017, in a public school in the municipal network of Santo Andre/SP. The “writing of the self” was used as a methodological possibility, going beyond the academic policy that is guided by objective and disciplinary knowledge, giving space and opening to a peculiar way of reading and interpreting the narrative of an experience report carried out by a 33 years-old teacher who teaches Physical Education. The educational project aimed to expand the knowledge of the children by broadening the idea that they had of fights and, to critically deepen the aspects that permeate the universe of this theme. It was possible to perceive with this pedagogical practice a deepening on the theme of fights, in addition to dialogue and critical reflection on the body culture. This perception becomes latent due to the development of the proposed research activities by the educator and students, by the debates and speeches of the students and by the evaluations carried out by the children during the educational project. We emphasize the need for more studies that bring pedagogical experiences.

A bioecological perspective of human development on autonomy of an athlete with intellectual disability

Abstract: This study´s aim was to investigate elements that foster autonomy in the life of a swimming athlete with intellectual disability, under the perspective of the bioecological theory of human development. A qualitative case study was used to describe the contexts in which the athlete was present and participating. The roles of the representative of the family responsible of the athlete´s education and of the coach that contributed and/or interfered in the autonomy of this athlete were analyzed. One male athlete with intellectual disability attending a Special Olympics 24 years old, as well as his mother and swimming coach were interviewed. A semi-structured interview was used. The descriptive and interpretative analysis was based upon the process-person-context-time model. Results show that dispositions, resources and demands observed in proximal processes in the microsystem of the home/family environment and the sport environment reflect specificities that demand a contextualized approach of the modus operandi of the athlete. It was possible to observe that attributes were developmentally instigative, and positive personal characteristics have been combined influencing autonomous behavior. Results also showed that activities in the home/family environment as well as in the sport environment have an important effect on autonomy. Apparently, personal beliefs prevail in actions adopted by mother and coach, reflecting their important role in the change of the athlete´s behavior. Therefore, proximal processes are of fundamental importance in any interpersonal relationship. The adopted bioecological perspective allows considering sport as a favorable environment for human development.

A experiência paulistana em parques lineares

Abstract: Em 2002, o Plano Diretor Estrategico da cidade de Sao Paulo instituiu o Programa de Recuperacao dos Fundos de Vale com o objetivo de transformar os rios em eixos de estruturacao urbana, paisagistica e ambiental, por meio de acoes de saneamento, recuperacao hidrica e implantacao dos parques lineares. Os parques lineares foram implantados entre 2008 e 2015, sendo incorporados ao cotidiano da populacao. Entretanto, diversos deles enfrentam problemas de vandalismo, falta de apropriacao, sujeira e abandono, resultado de falhas nos processos de planejamento, projeto, obra e gestao. A analise sera concentrada em tres parques lineares implantados em zonas distintas de Sao Paulo: Canivete, Guaratiba e Itaim Paulista, pois tiveram formas de implantacao distintas entre si, resultando em diferentes formas de apropriacao. Esses parques lineares mostram que a apropriacao esta relacionada diretamente aos processos de planejamento, projeto e gestao, em que o Estado deve atuar no espaco publico de acordo com as peculiaridades locais.

Entre a recuperação patrimonial e a questão da moradia: projetos de renovação urbana para o centro de Santos

Abstract: O objeto de estudo deste artigo e a cidade de Santos, mais especificamente a gestao publica municipal, no que se refere aos projetos para a regiao central da cidade e as suas implicacoes sociais. Devido a vertiginosa valorizacao do solo urbano em Santos nos ultimos 15 anos, combinada com uma gestao publica marcada pelo patrimonialismo e pelo crescente atendimento aos interesses do grande capital privado, houve dois processos bastante nitidos na cidade: a) a expulsao de parcela da populacao de Santos, principalmente para outras cidades da Baixada Santista; b) a mercantilizacao do patrimonio arquitetonico e urbanistico, que tem sido preservado, desde que nao interfira nos interesses do mercado imobiliario. O trabalho apresenta como objetivo principal a descricao, a analise e a avaliacao das politicas publicas urbanas para o centro de Santos, no que tange ao seu conjunto de valores, logica de funcionamento, interesses atendidos e suas implicacoes sociais.
