Abstract: We are living in a society of information, where the users wish more in getting, supplying, sharing and interacting through information and services anywhere, any time with any device. Then some items should be assured such as: mobility and interactivity, on an environment where the technological convergence takes place and, of course, the End-to-End QoS is assured. One of the biggest challenges is to assure the End-to-End QoS to the multimedia interactive services delivery to the moving users, that usually are the most QoS standing top, because they have, besides the well known computer network parameters, specific ones required by the audio and video user's perception and by the need of synchronization between data, video and sound. The aim for this paper is to propose a method to elicit the QoS parameters aiming the establishment of the SLA (Service Level Agreement) between the service providers and final users to the mobile and interactive services inside to a technological convergence environment. This method consists in the service identification to be offered to the final user, elaborating a tree graph, that is used to identify other services, which could be compound it. Mapping the QoS parameters in a methamodel, and finally validating it, after that it is possible to extract from the methamodel the QoS parameters to be set in the SLA. This work suggests a first step to solve the lack of standardized methods to the SLA establishment applied to mobile and interactive multimedia services under the point of view to the final users.

Abstract: A doenca renal cronica (DRC) pode causar muitas complicacoes clinicas associadas ao tempo de dialise. A amiloidose e uma dessas complicacoes e pode levar a dor no ombro, comum em pacientes com DRC. So foram encontrados na literatura relatos de tratamento cirurgico e/ou medicamentoso para esse tipo de dor. O objetivo aqui foi avaliar o beneficio da estimulacao eletrica nervosa transcutânea (TENS) no tratamento da dor no ombro devida a amiloidose em pacientes com DRC. Duas pacientes foram avaliadas quatro vezes num periodo de tres meses. Na avaliacao inicial as pacientes foram orientadas e receberam um aparelho de TENS para uso domiciliar (10Hz, 150 µs, duas vezes por dia, por 40 minutos) durante tres meses. A dor foi avaliada utilizando-se uma escala visual analogica e o questionario de dor de Wisconsin. Os resultados mostram que o tratamento com TENS reduziu a dor no ombro em ambas as pacientes. O tratamento com a TENS pode pois ser eficaz em reduzir a dor no ombro em pacientes com DRC.

Abstract: The study assessed the sensory acceptability of homemade bread flavored with pineapple rind tea added with inulin well as tried to determine the physico-chemical composition of the traditional formulation and also verified the formulation that contains the highest inulin level and sensory acceptance similar to the standard. It was used the following five bread formulations: standard (F1) and others added 20% (F2), 25% (F3), 30% (F4) and 35% (F5) inulin. The participants of the sensory analysis were 50 untrained tasters, from both genders, between 7 and 10 years. In the physico-chemical analysis, it was determined the moisture content, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrates, crude fiber and calories. Sensorially, the sample F5 had lower grades than others in the appearance tribute and lower grades than the standard sample for the flavor attribute (p<0.05). Therefore, the sample with 30% inulin was regarded as the product with a higher content of the ingredient and with sensory acceptance like the standard. In the physico-chemical composition, the sample with 30% inulin showed lower content of moisture, proteins and calories and higher contents of carbohydrates and crude fiber than the standard. Thus, the development of the products proved that an addition level up to 30% inulin in sliced loaves was better accepted, obtaining a sensory acceptance similar to the standard product, showing good marketing expectations. Resumo Objetivou-se verificar a aceitabilidade sensorial de pao caseiro saborizado com cha da casca de abacaxi com adicao de inulina, bem como determinar a composicao fisico-quimica da formulacao tradicional e daquela contendo maior nivel de inulina e com aceitacao sensorial semelhante a padrao. Utilizaram-se cinco formulacoes de paes sendo: padrao (F1) e as demais adicionadas de 20% (F2), 25% (F3), 30% (F4) e 35% (F5) de inulina. Participaram da analise sensorial 50 provadores nao treinados, de ambos os generos, com idade entre 7 e 10 anos. Nas analises fisico-quimicas foram determinados o teor de umidade, cinzas, proteinas, lipidios, carboidratos, fibra bruta e valor calorico. Sensorialmente, a amostra F5 apresentou menores notas que as demais no atributo aparencia e menor nota que a amostra padrao para o atributo sabor (p menor 0,05). Portanto, a amostra com 30% de inulina foi considerada como o produto com maior teor do ingrediente e aceitacao sensorial semelhante a padrao. Na composicao fisico-quimica, a amostra com 30% de inulina apresentou menores teores de umidade, proteinas e calorias e maiores de carboidratos e fibra bruta (p<0,05) que a padrao. Sendo assim, a elaboracao dos produtos permitiu comprovar que um nivel de adicao de ate 30% de insulina em pao de forma foi melhor aceito, obtendo-se aceitacao sensorial semelhante ao produto padrao e com boas expectativas de comercializacao.

Abstract: Os impactos da Revolucao Tecnologica no cenario global dos setores de informatica e telecomunicacoes repercutiram no seio das relacoes de trabalho, a partir da ampliacao da producao e do setor de servicos, oportunizando a taylorizacao do trabalho dos teleatendentes. Assim, com base no metodo de pesquisa dedutivo e na tecnica de pesquisa bibliografica, o presente estudo se propoe a analisar a atividade laborativa do setor de telemarketing, a partir da tutela juridica prevista, das implicacoes da procedimentalizacao da atividade para os trabalhadores e para o meio ambiente do trabalho e das atualidades do tema, sobretudo em relacao ao reconhecimento da atividade como essencial durante a pandemia internacional e o estado de calamidade publica de COVID-19 no Brasil em 2020.

Abstract: Purpose Studies have demonstrated that star fruit consumption by nephropathic patients triggers severe neurotoxic effects that can lead to convulsions or even death. Brain areas likely susceptible to star fruit poisoning have not been investigated. The objective of the present study was to map possible epileptogenic areas susceptible to star fruit intoxication in nephropathic rats. Methods The study analyzed 25 rats (5 groups). Rats in the experimental group underwent bilateral ureteral obstruction surgery and orogastric gavages with star fruit juice. An electroencephalogram was used to confirm convulsive seizures. Urea and creatinine levels were used to confirm the uremia model. Immunohistochemical analysis was used to map cells with c-Fos protein (c-Fos+ cells) to identify brain areas with increased neuronal activity. Control groups included non-nephropathic and nephropathic rats that did not receive star fruit. Results A statistically significant increase (p<0.01) in c-Fos+ cells was noted in nephropathic animals receiving star fruit juice compared to control groups, in brain areas commonly related to epileptogenic neural circuits including the hippocampus, amygdala, rhinal cortex, anterior cingulate area, piriform area, and medial dorsal thalamus. Conclusion These data corroborate the neurotoxic capacity of star fruit in nephropathic patients.
