TLDR
In this article, theoretical and phenomenological aspects of two-Higgs-doublet extensions of the Standard Model are discussed and a careful study of spontaneous CP violation is presented, including an analysis of the conditions which have to be satisfied in order for a vacuum to violate CP.

W γ decay of the elusive charged Higgs boson in the two-Higgs-doublet model with vectorlike fermions

TL;DR: In this article, the branching ratio of the two-Higgs doublet model was investigated in the presence of vector-like fermions and the signal rate was shown to be more than 10 fb in some parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cold electroweak baryogenesis in the two Higgs-doublet model

TL;DR: In this paper, cold electroweak baryogenesis in the two Higgs doublet model (2HDM) is investigated, where the electroweak symmetry breaking transition is assumed to occur through a spinodal instability from a super-cooled initial state.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exploring top quark FCNC within 2HDM type III in association with flavor physics

TL;DR: In this article, the authors explore Higgs-mediated top quark FCNC, focusing on H-t-c Yukawa coupling within the general two Higgs doublet model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Renormalization of mixing angles

TL;DR: In this paper, the renormalization of mixing angles for theories with extended scalar sectors is discussed and new renormalisation schemes based on on-shell conditions or symmetry requirements such as rigid or background-field gauge invariance are proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Perturbative analysis of the electron electric dipole moment and CP violation in two-Higgs-doublet models

TL;DR: In this paper, a general two-Higgs-doublet model with $CP$ violation is considered and a perturbative expansion for the mass eigenstates in terms of the small violating phase is given.

CP Conservation in the Presence of Pseudoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give an explanation of the conservation of strong interactions which includes the effects of pseudoparticles, and they find it is a natural result for any theory where at least one flavor of fermion acquires its mass through a Yukawa coupling to a scalar field which has nonvanishing vacuum expectation value.

Broken Symmetries and the Masses of Gauge Bosons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the spin-one quanta of some of the gauge fields acquire mass; the longitudinal degrees of freedom of these particles (which would be absent if their mass were zero) go over into the Goldstone bosons when the coupling tends to zero.
Journal ArticleDOI

Broken Symmetry and the Mass of Gauge Vector Mesons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that in certain cases vector mesons do indeed acquire mass when the vacuum is degenerate with respect to a compact Lie group, and that strong interaction physics originates from massive gauge fields related to a system of conserved currents.
