TLDR
In this article, theoretical and phenomenological aspects of two-Higgs-doublet extensions of the Standard Model are discussed and a careful study of spontaneous CP violation is presented, including an analysis of the conditions which have to be satisfied in order for a vacuum to violate CP.

Emergent gravity as the eraser of anomalous gauge boson masses, and QFT-GR concord

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the emergence of gravity in effective quantum field theories (QFT), with particular emphasis on the gauge sector in which gauge bosons acquire anomalous masses in proportion to the ultraviolet cutoff.
Journal ArticleDOI

G2HDM : Gauged Two Higgs Doublet Model

TL;DR: In this paper, a model embedding the two Higgs doublets in the popular two-Higgs doublet models into a doublet of a non-abelian gauge group $SU(2)_H$ is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Three-dimensional effective theories for the two Higgs doublet model at high temperature.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors apply the method of high-temperature dimensional reduction to the two Higgs doublet model (2HDM) to obtain three-dimensional effective theories that can be used for non-perturbative simulations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phenomenology of 2HDM with vectorlike quarks

TL;DR: In this article, the consistency of the LHC data collected during runs 1 and 2 by the ATLAS and CMS experiments with the predictions of a 2-Higgs doublet model embedding vectorlike quarks (VLQs) for pp→H, A production and H, A→γγ decay mechanisms, respectively, of (nearly) degenerate CP-even (H) and CP-odd (A) Higgs bosons.

Production of tZH and tZh in 2HDM: Prospects for discovery at the LHC

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the discovery potential of the two-Higgs doublet model at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and showed that it is possible to discover the two Higgs doublets with high luminosity running at the LHC.

CP Conservation in the Presence of Pseudoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give an explanation of the conservation of strong interactions which includes the effects of pseudoparticles, and they find it is a natural result for any theory where at least one flavor of fermion acquires its mass through a Yukawa coupling to a scalar field which has nonvanishing vacuum expectation value.

Broken Symmetries and the Masses of Gauge Bosons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the spin-one quanta of some of the gauge fields acquire mass; the longitudinal degrees of freedom of these particles (which would be absent if their mass were zero) go over into the Goldstone bosons when the coupling tends to zero.
Journal ArticleDOI

Broken Symmetry and the Mass of Gauge Vector Mesons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that in certain cases vector mesons do indeed acquire mass when the vacuum is degenerate with respect to a compact Lie group, and that strong interaction physics originates from massive gauge fields related to a system of conserved currents.
