TLDR
In this article, theoretical and phenomenological aspects of two-Higgs-doublet extensions of the Standard Model are discussed and a careful study of spontaneous CP violation is presented, including an analysis of the conditions which have to be satisfied in order for a vacuum to violate CP.

Angles on CP-violation in Higgs boson interactions

TL;DR: In this article, the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEF) was used to distinguish the various CP-violating operators that couple the Higgs and gauge fields, and perturbatively meaningful constraints on these operators can be obtained at the LHC with luminosities of (100/fb).

Search for a light pseudoscalar Higgs boson in the boosted μμττ final state in proton-proton collisions at √s = 13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2443 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for a light pseudoscalar Higgs boson (a) decaying from the 125 GeV (or a heavier) scalar (H) boson was performed using the 2016 LHC proton-proton collision data at 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb−1.

Relic density of dark matter in the inert doublet model beyond leading order: The heavy mass case

TL;DR: In this article, a full renormalisation of the Inert Doublet Model (IDM) is presented and exploited for a precise calculation of the relic density of Dark Matter (DM) at one-loop.
Journal ArticleDOI

Limits on the charged Higgs parameters in the two Higgs doublet model using CMS $$\sqrt{s}=13$$s=13 TeV results

TL;DR: The latest results on the upper limits on the Br(H^+ b) for the 2Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) were reported in this paper. But the upper bound on the 2HDM parameter space was not considered in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Collider constraints on light pseudoscalars

TL;DR: In this paper, the bounds on light pseudoscalars arising from a variety of collider searches are investigated and a compendium of formulas that allow to deal with the relevant corrections is provided.

CP Conservation in the Presence of Pseudoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give an explanation of the conservation of strong interactions which includes the effects of pseudoparticles, and they find it is a natural result for any theory where at least one flavor of fermion acquires its mass through a Yukawa coupling to a scalar field which has nonvanishing vacuum expectation value.

Broken Symmetries and the Masses of Gauge Bosons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the spin-one quanta of some of the gauge fields acquire mass; the longitudinal degrees of freedom of these particles (which would be absent if their mass were zero) go over into the Goldstone bosons when the coupling tends to zero.
Journal ArticleDOI

Broken Symmetry and the Mass of Gauge Vector Mesons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that in certain cases vector mesons do indeed acquire mass when the vacuum is degenerate with respect to a compact Lie group, and that strong interaction physics originates from massive gauge fields related to a system of conserved currents.
