TLDR
In this article, theoretical and phenomenological aspects of two-Higgs-doublet extensions of the Standard Model are discussed and a careful study of spontaneous CP violation is presented, including an analysis of the conditions which have to be satisfied in order for a vacuum to violate CP.

Search for a charged Higgs boson decaying to charm and bottom quarks in proton-proton collisions at √s=8 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2364 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for a charged Higgs boson decaying to a charm and a bottom quark pair production was performed, where one top quark decays to a charged lepton, a neutrino, and a Bottom quark.

Showcasing H H production: Benchmarks for the LHC and HL-LHC

TL;DR: In this article, a range of signature-driven benchmark points for resonant and nonresonant BSM di-Higgs production that motivate non-SM kinematic correlations and multifermion discovery channels are provided.

One-Loop Corrections to the Perturbative Unitarity Bounds in the $CP$-Conserving Two-Higgs Doublet Model with a Softly Broken $\mathbb{Z}_2$ Symmetry

TL;DR: In this paper, all of the one-loop corrections that are enhanced for the CP$-conserving two-Higgs doublet model with a softly broken symmetry were computed.

Off-diagonal terms in Yukawa textures of the Type-III 2-Higgs doublet model and light charged Higgs boson phenomenology

TL;DR: In this article, a four-zero Yukawa texture embedded within the Type-III 2-Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM-III) is discussed and a comprehensive study of the main B-physics constraints on such parameters induced by flavor-changing processes is presented, in particular on the off-diagonal terms of such a texture.

Two-Higgs-doublet model with soft C P violation confronting electric dipole moments and colliders

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the effects of two-Higgs-doublet models on electric dipole moment (EDM) measurements and future analyses at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).

CP Conservation in the Presence of Pseudoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give an explanation of the conservation of strong interactions which includes the effects of pseudoparticles, and they find it is a natural result for any theory where at least one flavor of fermion acquires its mass through a Yukawa coupling to a scalar field which has nonvanishing vacuum expectation value.

Broken Symmetries and the Masses of Gauge Bosons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the spin-one quanta of some of the gauge fields acquire mass; the longitudinal degrees of freedom of these particles (which would be absent if their mass were zero) go over into the Goldstone bosons when the coupling tends to zero.

Broken Symmetry and the Mass of Gauge Vector Mesons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that in certain cases vector mesons do indeed acquire mass when the vacuum is degenerate with respect to a compact Lie group, and that strong interaction physics originates from massive gauge fields related to a system of conserved currents.
